We haven't played them without porzingis even once all season, so there's nothing to look back on and feel positive about. :dontknow:

We shouldn’t need Porzingis to beat any of these two teams. The Knicks are beat up and mediocre. The Pacers play no defense, their star player is the worst we have seen so far.

At one point during the regular season, some of the Celtic fans were wishing Tatum would be more like Haliburton.

Those who want a KP update, realgm says KP will miss first 2 games of ECF.

So the 4-week return date seems accurate.

If Hart did indeed pull a muscle and misses time, that is just about a starting 5 that is out. Should be the easiest ride.to the finals in a decade or so..

Boston better capitalize this year..nothing is guaranteed in the future..

FUN STAT: The Celtics spent just 3.87% of the time in 1st two rounds trailing Miami and Cleveland.

Dominant. Still only counts as 8 wins though.

Well, having a Game 7 between Indiana and the Knicks is some great news for us. More rest for the team + more time for the Zinger to recover. I agree with the above, I don't think we'll need to rush KP return for the ECF. But I do think he should play at least the final games, to get his rythm back on track, even if means on limited minutes at first, for him to be at his fullest for the Finals.

^^We were playing G1 on Tuesday regardless. Where this does benefit us, though, is that the winning team will only have 1 days rest. No excuse for us not to be up 1-0 by Tuesday night.

If we win game 1 and 2, then its a sweep for the pacers, and 1 win for the knicks. If we lose one of the first two games, then its 5 games against the pacers, and probably 6 for the knicks. Brunson is just that good. If OG and Hart doesn’t play, we probably sweep the knicks.
