Jay Huff dislikes you.

He's on a two-way contract and I wasn't sure how that worked in terms of his availability. I just went with guys I knew could be acquired or in Hunter, someone lots of people think might be available in a trade. I would've said Ty Jerome, too, but he's under contract and with Beekman and Clark, we'd already have enough point guards.

I keep hearing Davion Mitchell thrown around in trades on this site. He's in the draft this year: Jamal Shead. If Jamal doesn't sprain his ankle in the Sweet 16, the Final Four hype pushes him into the 1st round.

We have been in win now for over half a decade. And because we haven’t taken the time to develop projects we are constantly griping about being too old.

This team needs an Uber athletic 5. This draft seems to have quite a few that are worth the roll of the dice.

No we have been drafting projects since. The only project that worked was Giannis. Many teams have plenty of players that contribute at a solid rate while we have not done a good job throughout the draft. Marjon has had plenty of time but he is just not good enough to be a solid role player.

This is the largest group I can remember in a draft. There’s a bunch of big guys who can jump, but also no real wings which is somewhat rare, too.

Of the group above, who are the ones with the best motor?

Bigs take awhile to develop, but there’s an easy pathway to early minutes if they are long, athletic, and get after it. We saw this in the Toronto series with Thon back in the day where he hustled, stayed with his man, and got some blocks.

It’s a player archetype we haven’t had since, and I think it would clearly help us.

This draft is probably the deepest pool of athletic bigs I can remember in a draft. I’m pretty damn on board for one of them.

How many guys have we even drafted in the first? DJ Wilson, DDV, Marjon? That’s not many swings and that is contributing to the lack of young talent. Time to start reloading.

Looks like a lotto pick! He’s Nice! Big athletic guard, he’d be perfect next to Dame.

Dadiet's jump shot looks nice in his highlights. Young Rudy Gay vibes.

Reminds me of a smaller Scott Henderson. The smaller part is a concern.

Davion is a hot comp for Bronny post combine. I’m not saying, I’m just saying.

How is he not being talked about in the top 10? He'd look perfect as a switching big next to Giannis

Idk where he’ll ultimately rank among my reasonable options at 23 but he’s an option I’d be happy with

Think Furphy is the classic higher floor but lower ceiling option compared to a lot of these other guys we're talking about.

Who’s the Naz Reid project at 23? That’s who we need, Big skilled athletic and mobile big. Teach the basketball, get the talent.

At 33, just draft the next Jokic and not the next Damien Inglis. That’s easy

Personality issues.. Motivation questions. Fined 5x by his former team, caught vaping in the locker room etc...
