What's the feeling about Bam's 3 point shooting next season? 2-3 a game at around 36%? Is that enough to change coverages?

Seriously. Just **** off Herro. No show some more, either by injury or small balls.

None of that does anything for me. Herro for picks makes sense.

I just can’t find a team open to giving picks for a 30 million dollar oft injured Herro. And you know Riley can’t stomach developing more than one pick a year for a supposed every other year drafting team. He’ll trade Herro for win now depth. I’m not enamored by that Kings deal. It’s tough sledding with racking my brain through depth charts and trade checker. Keep heading back to Herro and the Pistons.

Yep, when they decided to trade Paul George. That set their current success in motion by getting Sabonis in that deal, who they later moved for Halliburton. For better or worse, Heat never wouldve traded Paul George.

I wouldn’t call that tanking, little reset though.

Similar to the re-set Heat need right now with Butler, but will they see the big picture?

They just need to stop talking about the whale and actually get one, Spo Jimmy and Bam have shown they can get us there they just need some help

I’m not ready to punt on a build that’s had us 1 shot from 3 finals in the last 5 years, I want to add a star and sign some vet minimum guys and see what happens. A star on Bams timeline. We can get the job done if the FO can just get them the pieces.

I think you can only sell Herro right now to a young losing team that does not have an established two guard or has a young one that hasn’t developed yet. A team with cap space to burn and is looking for scoring at that spot.

Sounds like Detroit

EDIT: From South Florida to Michigan. Hope Katya likes the weather there.

That Ivey/Stewart trade proposed has me thinking.

Possible sneaky trade here that gets us a pick and frees up future pick. Herro to the Raptors for Bruce Brown and 2026 1st rd pick. This would open up 2029 free and clear and 2031.

I wouldn't mind a Herro Dick swap too.

By far my favorite proposed deal when looking at all the other non star options.

Raptors have had eyes on Herro. Could be a good time to open up talks with them. Especially now with Bruce Brown’s expiring to throw around. We have had interest in Bruce Brown and fits our culture. We have done business with Masai in the past so maybe something can get done here beneficial for both sides. Raps can also help out our cap situation this year as well by eating 6 million of Herro’s deal. Raps own two picks in 2026. We can probably get Indiana’s pick from them. Would be amazing if we could also get the 31st pick from them this year. Non the less we could be very interesting trade partners this year.

I'm sorry but I like any idea that gets Herro out of here and brings back draft picks. I'd even be open to Bruce Brown and the 19th pick with some future seconds. Come out of the draft with Bruce Brown, Devin Carter, and DaRon Holmes. Give me that all day. You guys can continue to run it back with Herro or dream of flipping him for a star.

Honestly I don’t think he has that value to bring picks. It’s more like we will need to attach picks to move him. Has his value increased from the year before? Has he been injured? Did he show up in the playoffs? I wish I’m wrong but it looks like we will need to attach value to move him. That’s why I think we keep him to try to rehabilitate his value.

You probably have to give up a pick with a contract in order to get Bruce Brown, not likely to receive him and a pick. Especially when Toronto may want to reserve some cap to remain a player in free agency.
