Re: NBA Playoffs Thread
did Brunson flop into Hali's Knee and get hurt? I'm just kidding obviously, but this is how every embiid injury is treated

I can't imagine how exhilarating it must feel to quiet that butt hole NY crowd.

I also don't think the Knicks can get too much better until they move Randle. They have to give OG his contract and try to retain Hartenstein.
By the time Randle expires, they have to max Brunson and resign Robinson.

Feel sorry and bad for Brunson the man, still don't feel bad for the Knicks or especially their fans.
It's never a bad thing to see NY fans go home unhappy. Brunson is a gamer and that was a shame for him, but there's no way Knicks fans can use that as an excuse, as they were getting run out of the building with him in the game.
I was wondering if Carlisle was ever going to take the 3-pointer away from Divincenzo, and the answer was no. Take away the 3-point line and the Knicks are a one-trick pony with Brunson being the only real offensive threat.
I honestly didn't believe the Pacers had this kind of effort in them on the road. Very impressive.

Agree completely. Randle's treatment by the national media reminds me of Tobias. Breen must have referred to him as an "all-NBA" player 3-4 times in the series, but if the Knicks are smart enough to move off that contract and resign Anonoby, they could really stack that team.
Regarding Indy, there is zero chance that Siakam will ever see free agency.

Sixers would’ve won in 5 if Randle played.

Re: NBA Playoffs Thread
Randle (while obviously a better player than Tobias) is essentially the Knicks' version of Tobias from a contract standpoint. Until he is either traded (good luck) or his contract expires, their depth will always be depleted.

I’m sick and tired of seeing Scott Foster’s ugly mug every time I watch a big time playoff game.

Re: NBA Playoffs Thread
If Minnesota loses this series they have only themselves to blame. They blew the doors off of Denver in Denver the first two games and then gave two away at home. All they had to do was win one and this series would have been over. Denver WILL win this game and we will be seeing a Nuggets/Celtics Finals which should be fairly epic. As much as I'd like Dallas to beat Denver, I don't see it happening. Indy might win one or two games against Boston if they're lucky.

Re: NBA Playoffs Thread
Dallas isn’t anything special. The Sixers with a healthy Embiid are better than Dallas. Honestly, the Sixers with a healthy Embiid are better than most playoff teams, just not the top tier ones. That’s more of an indictment on the NBA not having super teams anymore than it is praise for the Sixers. The Sixers really do still have a shot to win a title if Morey doesn’t screw up and is actually able to have a massive summer.

Re: NBA Playoffs Thread
Minnesota deserves to lose just for force-feeding Gobert for like 5 straight minutes in the second quarter, that's what gave Denver the lead.

He’s the only one keeping them in this game actually. But I still really struggle to see a team with Gobert winning a title.

Well they’re not getting **** for Gobert. KAT has started to come to life here, but he should be averaging 25+ in the playoffs to make it over the hump. He’s not elevating his game and it feels like him and Gobert are clunky. Time to move on.

I said it last year, but it would be insane if we made a run at Towns.

KAT looks like the best Jokic defender in the league after this series tho (crazy to type that lol). Not sure you can trade him away knowing you’ve gotta go through Denver to win a title.

Gobert looks like he's wearing those sneakers with the hidden roller skates in him when he's guarding Jokic
