As someone who doesn't like @eyeatoma, please leave him alone. We've watched him unravel ever since Embiid did his usual post-season flame out and with each passing day he's become more and more unhinged. Instead of bashing him, have some empathy and allow him to celebrate the 76ers fanbase "championship" - Jokic being knocked out in the playoffs. Congrats, eyeatoma/Hussein/JustBuzzin, enjoy your moment. 8-)

On another note, Jokic had a bad game by his standard (34/19/7) so he's not above criticism, but I think at this it's time for him to either ask for a trade to a team with a second star or demand the Nuggets get a star teammate.

Karl-Anthony Towns was amazing. Guarded their best player, took up the slack on offense, grabbing rebounds, the putback at the end.

I had the winner of this winning the Finals. I had Denver in 7 because they are the reigning champs and you have to respect that, but Minny's defense was just too much for Jokic's others.

Murray was bad all post-season. he had some incredible shots but has generally been bad.
MPJ only shows up against the Lakers I guess?
Aaron Gordon is perfect against the elite big wings like Kawhi/LeBron/PG13 but he didn't have anyone to guard like that in this one.

There's no two ways around it, if a team comes back from double digits down in a game 7 and wins , they're the better team. Period. It's really that simple.

Frankly, the TWolves were the better team all year. KAT got injured and it cost them the no.1 seed, but they were clearly the better team in the West.

I think these playoffs were a sobering reminder to the FO that you can't just lose players in the offseason and not add anyone in return and hope to just repeat what you did just because you have Jokic.

The 'young guns' strategy from Calvin Booth was lazy and never materialized because Braun and Watson weren't good enough to take the next step. They're probably 2-3 years away from being consistent rotation players. Reggie is past his prime. DA is basically taking up a roster spot, and Zeke Nnaji did nothing all year.

Anyways. Go, Celtics.

Jokic didn’t have close to the impact that his stats suggest imo. He looked gassed for a lot of the game and started giving up crucial rebounds.

Wasn’t bad but he didn’t seem to take control of the game like he usually does.

He plays different, but his effort and playing to win remind me of Kobe
