On another note, Jokic had a bad game by his standard (34/19/7) so he's not above criticism, but I think at this it's time for him to either ask for a trade to a team with a second star or demand the Nuggets get a star teammate.

Problem is Jokic wont do that. He’s like Giannis but nowhere near as passive aggressive and he’ll let the FO do there job w/o any interference. Because Jokic and Giannis are not as aggressive as KD/Lebron or willing to actually leave their franchises they both may end up with only one ring similar to Durk

It just shows how hard it is to repeat. Denver lost some depth. Jokic was on a mission last year but to repeat means coming off a longer season too. He got gassed. Wolves gained depth and had a full year to build after that trade. It’s also impossible to know how banged up players are like Murray or any of the players.

Aaron Gordon is perfect against the elite big wings like Kawhi/LeBron/PG13 but he didn't have anyone to guard like that in this one.

I for one am disappointed in Michael Malone. He played Jokic too much. I felt that way during the game and I feel that way now. Just my opinion. Don't see anyone convincing me otherwise.

But win as a team, lose as a team. On to the next one.

Frankly, the TWolves were the better team all year. KAT got injured and it cost them the no.1 seed, but they were clearly the better team in the West.

I think these playoffs were a sobering reminder to the FO that you can't just lose players in the offseason and not add anyone in return and hope to just repeat what you did just because you have Jokic.

The 'young guns' strategy from Calvin Booth was lazy and never materialized because Braun and Watson weren't good enough to take the next step. They're probably 2-3 years away from being consistent rotation players. Reggie is past his prime. DA is basically taking up a roster spot, and Zeke Nnaji did nothing all year.

Anyways. Go, Celtics.

Crazy thing is the team was actually healthy. Banged up but healthy, they just had nobody Malone was comfortable going to on that bench.

HUGE poise to make that comback against the defending champs. I rarely ever count teams out and missed a lot of the 3rd quarter and when I got back was pretty surprised it was tied up again...and then they quickly took the lead.
