If I'm the Suns, I am feeling better right now.

Aaron Gordon got shut down. 4 points in 42 minutes. He played good D, but he was invisible on the other end.

What about Malone playing Joker 47 minutes? He was so gassed down the stretch.
Comments to rationalize bad contracts -
1) It's less than the MLE
2) He can be traded later
3) It's only __% of the cap
4) The cap is going up
5) It's only __ years
6) He's a good mentor/locker room guy

No one who’s objective can say he was better than Lebron or Jordan at their best. I’m not completely convinced he peaked higher than Magic even.

Winning validates all arguments as much as the stat heads hate that fact......

MPJ had 5 single digit scoring games this series, can't have that from the guy who's supposed to be your third leading scorer.

I have been following the nba for maybe 25 years, I have never seen any of those conspiracy theorists become into reality.

Since around early 80s.

Problem is Jokic wont do that. He’s like Giannis but nowhere near as passive aggressive and he’ll let the FO do their job w/o any interference. Because Jokic and Giannis are not as aggressive as KD/Lebron or willing to actually leave their franchises they both may end up with only one ring similar to Durk

This Nuggets team is 5x better than any Cavs team young Bron played with

Yes all 21 points they scored outside of Jokic and Murray.

I love how you say other than Murray like he isn’t part of the team

Naw, we don't wanna hear that. His team had a 20-point lead at home and the 3-time MVP is supposed to do whatever it takes to get the dub. He had 32/18/7 but it wasn't enough. He needed to do more.

In that fourth quarter, his teammates weren't hitting anything and the Wolves were throwing multiple guys at him every time he touched the ball, and he had played nearly every minute of the game. At a certain point, it's just unreasonable to want more.

Naw, I want more. This guy is supposedly in contention for offensive GOAT? Then I need more. Because if LeBron had blown a 20pt lead at home in a game 7, he be getting roasted.

Agree to disagree.

Wasn’t bad but he didn’t seem to take control of the game like he usually does.

The same Lebron would have destroyed this Wolves team. Stop acting like Jokic went up against the Dynasty Warriors here.

Happy for Minnesota but this isn't some great team in the grand scope

Every team LeBron faced in the East from 2010 to 2018 was inferior to this Wolves team. Every. Single. One.

Lebron destroyed dynasties in the Spurs and Warriors during same years. Your point is void.

Absolutely no way.

Denver was up 50-30. Their bench usually provides a spark. Both Jokic and Murray got tired, and Aaron Gordon was invisible today.

Malone isn't responsible for them being outplayed.

Wolves are the better team. MPJ, Gordon, and Murray were way too streaky

That is zero excuse for how the Nuggets played but it is also true.

Well to repeat it takes a pretty dominant team and the Nuggets were never on the level of the dynasties like the Bulls or Warriors.

They have some weak links in MPJ and Murray which they should probably address but I don't know if they risk team chemistry and try to shake it up? MPJ got so many wide looks from 3 and he bricked a ton of them.

Murray had a lot of unfortunate turnovers although I'm not sure how other point guards would fare with the type of defense the Wolves have been playing.

Ya, to repeat, Denver need to have Ant on their team instead of Murray. That's basically what the Lakers were doing with Shaq & Kobe. You need that level of dominance.

They need to upgrade MPJ and Murray, way too inconsistent. Denver standing Pat during the trade deadline has to be malpractice

NBA Efficiency data for Game 7 (higher number better):

DENVER

Jokic....42 in 47 minutes
Murray..23 in 43
KCP.......14 in 40
No one else in double units

MINNY

Towns.........31 in 39 minutes
McDaniels...31 in 40 minutes
Gobert.........17 in 36
Conley.........16 in 39
Reid.............15 in 22
Edwards......14 in 44
No one else in double units

So, Jokic was the dominant figure for the game but more Minny players joined the party and Denver's Others outside of Murray and KCP didn't show up.

Murray was dead from fatigue in the second half IMO.

Booth has to examine this. Issues are clear, and not new.
Luka won the trade & Nico got fired
