Minnesota Indiana final ftw

Shortest flights in nba finals history?

Would have to be up there

Others in the running (I'm no expert on flight times)
Miami vs OKC/DAL/SAS
Spurs vs Pistons
Houston-Orlando

The Gulf of Mexico is big, flying to Texas from Florida is not that short. Tampa-Houston is over two hours, almost the same flight time as Tampa-NYC

I’ve checked all the finals matchups and the shortest hypothetical flights would’ve been Baltimore-Philly in 48 and Rochester-NYC in 51. Indy-Minneapolis would set the record as teams were not flying then

The Wolves are definitely my team to root for. Unfortunately I think it's Boston as the best team remaining. Hopefully they don't make it to the finals.

35 years.

This one's for you, Klomp and all the long suffering fans in Minnesota:

;t=105s&ab_channel=HouseofHighlights

My god how far this team has truly come. Gotta do it for Mountain Mike! He's been long suffering and this could honestly be their best shot at winning it all. Love his game and is truly one of the more underrated floor generals of the modern era. I honestly am impressed that Jaden McDaniels stepped up offensively. If he can be more consistent with the 3pt shot, no telling what he can do.

Shoutout to OP for giving love and respect. Sucks that Jokic got worn down with nearly 4 7 footers(Jaden, Rudy, KAT and Naz), but those are the breaks. They did a great job in forcing him to be a scorer and he gave it to them and kept the Nuggets in the game. Outside of Murray, everybody else was silenced. It's honestly impressive how well the T-Wolves did in staying calm. The second Gobert hit that turnaround jump shot, this was a team of destiny.

For those who were curious about the odds of winning the NBA title before the season began here it is:

1) Boston: +450
2) Dallas: +2500
3) Minnesota: +6600
4) Indiana: +25000

This is truly insane and honestly I've been enjoying Ant man's rise as one of if not the premier shooting guards in the league today. Much love to both Minnesota and Denver fans for a great series. Truly fun to watch.

He's been key to the Wolves this entire playoff run.

I saw a bunch of posts earlier stating how one cannot trust Towns, hence they had Denver winning.

Can I wait a round or two?

This is some or the best NBA in the last few years I've seen in a while. Giannis wins one in 2021, Curry wins a legacy title in 2022, Jokic Nuggets go on their run last year, and it seems like we will have a good run this year as well. Congrats to the Wolves, good luck in the Mavs series, I hope they make the push and win it all.

Best of luck against the Mavs but to create a thread to congrats a team for winning a series is just lame unless it's for winning the championship. Are you going to create one for the Pacers too?

Actually proud of Jokic. He battled throughout the game. But let’s congratulate the Twolves. They did a hell of job. Why not celebrate them winning the series against my Nugggets. Why be an ****? Like grow up. Minny deserves all the praise.

Minnesota fans should be thankful to Denver Nuggets for creating this team, and it is not just Tim Conelly, Finch and Nori.

Here is the story.

Some Minnesota fans don't know but the real rise of Denver Nuggets started in the bubble. We were down 1-3 to Utah Jazz, on our way to disappointing 1st round loss. We eventualy won 4-3, Jokic scored series ending shot over Gobert, and Mike Conley missed series winning 3 in the last second of game 7. Next season after another disapointing loss in the playoffs, Jazz decided to dismentle their team and go into rebuildt. So no bubble, no Denver Nuggets, no Gobert, and Mike Conley in Minenesota. This way we can say cosmic justice is satisfied and circle for Gobert, and Mike Conley is closed. And they deserved it. Conley is one of the nices playeres in the NBA and the only player discredited and hated more in national media than Jokic is Gobert (with KAT being second). So be thankful and good luck.

Spectacular defensive performance.

Wolves were just the better team all around.

But yeah it was all Ant sure.

No one waited in his first playoff games -- Wiggins and Jimmy Butler as teammates. And then the snowball continued two seasons ago against Memphis -- sophomore Edwards and Russell. Fact is he's been balling both series (Suns and Nuggets) and the team is winning. He deserves his apologies. End of.

Yessir, the guard is changing QUICK. But ANT has a damn police escort to his way as the face of the league. I don't know if there's been a combination of a player this electric & dynamic on court and a great personality off court.

I remember a few weeks ago out of curiosity I pulled up the 2017 All-NBA team, everybody else outside of KAT everybody else was gone.

Nice. At least there's one thread up here in the masses of shots at Jokic and Murray congratulating the Wolves. Truly amazing job to go into Denver, fall behind by that much and still pull it off in a game 7. Hope they beat Dallas.

I’d love to see the Wolves win just to see everyone eat crow on the Rudy Gobert trade.
