Completely disagree with you on this one.

Fair to disagree. I'll look at Jrue Holiday, Desmond Bane, Chris Paul, Kyle Lowry, Jevon Carter, Derrick White, Mike Conley, Donte DiVincenzo, Klay Thompson, Dillon Brooks, Alex Caruso, Jimmy Butler, and many other examples to determine that wingspan has become this pretty overrated physical trait when it comes to projecting perimeter defensive ability.

Yeah, Bane is the posterchild for the T-Rex armed wings can cut it if they are **** good at basketball movement. He was off many boards, now every team would love to have him. It does matter, but not a dealbreaker.

You can't spell wingspan without wigs

Wouldn't be surprised if Spurs get Cody. They need a PG & SF

I’d still talk myself into him at 33. Probably wouldn’t be my favorite guy on the board though.

Same. I don’t dislike him or anything but he doesn’t excite me the way Jalen did.

To be clear, he is not his brother. Jalen was ~30 lbs heavier coming into the draft and with noticeably more burst. Cody needs a ton of weight room work. They do share similar freakish length, BBIQ, touch, slashing/cutting, shot-making ability, and defensive tools. You can tell they are brothers stylistically.

I buy into the upside and I buy him as a human being-- really impressive kid, I think he will put in the work. Risky play considering he will take some time, and we don't really have time, but could also easily see him develop ahead of schedule and make an early impact.

I have been watching alot of draft classes. This class looks so poor ... too many undersized or unathletic kids.

I am getting wormer with Bonasis

Djurisic and Pelle Larsson promising

Just watched the combine game where Bona vs Ighodaro ... Bona played better filled his stats, more aggresive rebounder, more engaged defensively and vocal , while Oso was on an island on his own cause his teammates guards where ball hogs, never fed him rolling. Saw Oso rebounding bring the ball up and pushing the ball to the wings, saw Oso feeding a player cut but he did not expect the pass, ball literally hit his teammate and went out of bounds. Oso has a really nice playmaking ability from a small center. Maybe get both Bona and Oso, lets fill our wings with bodies to throw at Indiana , Boston and the rest of the league

Speaking of wingspan, Filipowski should be in our range if you like 6’10” height with a 6’10” wingspan?

He needs to get stronger (as do a lot of prospects) but he averaged 1.5 steals and 2 blocks per 40.

Ajay Mitchell will be this year's small school steal. He's really skilled. Played through injury this past year.

I think he's kinda in the same category as Edey where I think value wise, he'd be very good at #23, but probably not the direction I'm really looking to go with our precious few assets. Think he's being underrated though; maybe lottery caliber guy in a class as weak as this one.

I see Filipowski being pretty similar to Olynyk. Skilled, good feet, good anticipation, good vision, but smallish and weak for a C and only a so-so shooter. Quality player with some notable flaws, hard to pass on at 23 in this draft. I don't see him being there though.

That is a good comp, skill and size wise. Id be thrilled with Olynyk as a bench scorer, on a rookie scale deal, on a pick in the twenties. I also think Filipowski has better playmaking chops, so he can be more than a pick and pop guy.
