What is your basis for this? And then how does 24-28 compare to 34-40? Because it would seem the obvious zag to me here would be something like:
#26 for #34 and #40
Washington gets 2 similar players to 1, while Portland gets 1 shot at a better player.
Yeap if a team believes that there’s no difference between 18 and 26 , they should be looking to move down and grab an additional asset whether that’s a second this year or in future year.
Edit - so if I’m OKC and I think 12 and 16 are fairly equal I should be moving down to 16 and grab an asset even if it’s a pick swap with one of my other first or second or something .
Unless 16 thinks the same way as well.
