I didn't like this move by Ant at all. That said, what the Nuggets should do is stew on it, try to beat them in a series next year, and do the same to him. Use it as motivation.

The Alpha dog is marking his territory. Ant now owns Phoenix and Denver. Dallas is next. Seriously though it's not just him being cheeky. He's trying to embarrass and intimidate opponents. That's how it starts. Within a couple years most players just start shying away.

If anything, Jokic should have confronted McDaniels for the self-oop. I don't remember any of the Nuggets taking offense to that in real time, and that to me was a little concerning.

He didnt look alpha at all there lol. You could tell he was embarrassed when Jokic confronted him and looked like a kid who got caught with his hand in the cookie jar. He's trying way too hard to look cool. Which is fine until it becomes disrespectful, like here.

Ant did nothing wrong. Joker didn't say anything when Murray did the gun gesture at a defender, he said nothing when Murray hit that half court shot and posed in front of the broadcasting table, so he needs to shut up about this.

Every good story/series needs a villain, ANT wants to be that villain. If teams don't like what he is doing then shut him up and send him home.

Not really sure why anyone would expect the Wolves not to try to score when they're only up 7 with 30 seconds to go in game 7.

That's actually way more of a normal conversation than I assumed it was when I saw it in real time. I assumed Jokic was giving Ant a detailed rundown of how he, his horses, and his brothers were going to murder him in his sleep that night. But he basically was just like "why did you do that, man? leave the fans out of it."

No issues with either response. Ant just lead his team over the defending champs and Jokic was visibly frustrated and tired having given up a 20pt lead and playing the entire 2nd half.

McDaniels is a fool though and he is lucky KCP isn't that type of player.
