The effort in the first half seemed fine, but the mental focus just wasn't there. They need to stop giving up layups on mistakes and do a better job of boxing out on rebounds.

We have to get that percentage down for the others. 3-point defense has been great, but we're letting them attack the rim.

That being said, if the second half unfolds exactly like the first half did, I like Minnesota's chances of winning the game.

Unless this defense gets some balls, we’ll be beat by 15+

Yes, if we didn't give up the stupid turnover, we could be up 8 and looking pretty.

I don’t think Ant’s back is right. He’s gutting it out, but he’s not explosive in either end.

I think we are. Naz is the same. Ran right to the guy and let them drive by

A bunch of guys were just a little slow moving their feet on defense and Irving/Doncic are killing them for it. Not sure if it's because they are tired or a little lacking in focus.

Unfortunately our offense falls apart when he sits.

What worries me is that we’re struggling to get shots and Dallas is getting easy looks, usually with the Kyrie pick and roll. We need to blitz that. Make the role players beat us from outside. They are getting way too many layups and dunks.

I feel like ant has stopped driving so much after that hard foul he took in the Denver series. Before that he was going to the rim all the time

I think there might be some fatigue, but it is more lack of focus and being hungover from the Denver win. It was a great win, but it was not the semifinals. You cannot rest on your reputation and achievements half way through the race.

Starting to remind me of the Cassell I just in our last playoff run … you lose your veteran PG you lose your pace.

We need to get tough and take care of business. Focus. We will do better and we will win.

This hasn't been Mike's night (or NAW), I'd give Monte a chance to see if can do anything. Alternatively, just go really big and have Kyle be the defacto PG.

I thought you guys had the best defense in the history of ever? You might win this game, but dayum! OKC played better D.

Mike isn’t slowing the pace. The bigger issue is Ant is trying to get himself going from outside instead of attacking and dishing or attacking and finishing.

Dal cannot buy a make from 3 and yet we are tied.
Not good. Not good at all.
