Aint nobody arguing they’d be better off with Spencer Dinwiddie or Dorian Finney-Smith tho

Because that's definitely what we're besmirching Dame's abilities comparatively .

You didn’t listen to Homer two weeks ago. He spent two shows calling Giannis the new Kawhi

Are they not comparable players? We’re still arguing about losing Jrue while Dallas gave up basically nothing for Kyrie. Bucks probably could have had Kyrie and Jrue, oh well. PPGz at least

What we gave up vs them has absolutely nothing to do with pot shots like "Kyrie just is a better player than Dame, more ready and willing to play off others". The guy who wanted out of Cleveland playing next to LeBron James as a perennial finals team. The guy who straight up blew up Boston the years he was there. The guy who got his way in Brooklyn and then blew that up too. Yeah, that dude has been a stable dude willing and able to do anything for the team . And until Dallas completely revamped their roster around Kyrie/Luka, that duo was dog as well.

The most noteworthy part of this is that Homer spent two shows talking about the Bucks.

If nothing this deserves an And1 for the solid use of passive aggressive thumbs up.

I remember being at what ended up being the Jabari Parker draft party (shoutout DanoMac) where Homer was adamant that Giannis was nothing more than bench fodder. He's always been a hater.

The most noteworthy part is I found out Homer is still on the air. I figured he was long gone.

He'll talk Bucks if he has a negative take.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Kenny Atkinson getting a second chance in Cleveland would be interesting to watch. I've wanted him here both times he was in contention (seems Horst did too). We can see if he's gotten better as a coach.

Idk about that one for Cleveland. They never seemed to get it to work with everyone, but I feel like he maxed out their talent.

I do find the "Kyrie has always been a real one" narrative and erasure of all the toxic bull **** he's done over the years to be pretty funny. For whatever reason, players and the NBA media absolutely love the dude. I just don't get it.

1 quiet year from Kyrie and everybody seemingly forgets the BS his teams had to deal with for like 7 years.

I don't understand how Kyrie/Luka get disparaged for having success after the roster is actually built to highlight their talents.

That's essentially the problem we have..

Kyrie is kind of an idiot but he is a fabulous basketball player. I would definitely take him over Dame based on Age and ability to finish around the rim. Kyrie has more in his toolbox than Dame does.

Kyrie is literally the same age as Khris Middleton lol.

This is a good point though. Can't be stated enough that the Dame trade happened more than 2-months after all the coaching and offseason moves. Getting a full offseason to work and build the right complimentary players around the Dame/Giannis duo is a much bigger factor than people realize.

Made the playoffs as a 3 seed despite a disastrous coaching hire, without really getting a chance for our 3 major players to gel consistently or surrounding them with more complementary players, and gave an Eastern Conference finalist all they could handle despite missing two of those three for a majority of the series.

Dallas, in their first year with Kyrie... *checking notes* missed the playoffs after going 7-18 with him?
