Good point.
In the first 2 series (vs CLE and MIA) we had very convincing wins in game 1. Which is probably a big reason why we lost game 2 in. both series - our guys thought it would be easy and took the opponent too lightly in game 2.
You would think since game 1 vs IND was such a war, ad we came so close to losing, they should come out tonight with more focus and take the opponent more seriously.
They did take Indy seriously, it is just that Boston struggles to cover three point shooting teams with their drop coverage and the fact that Horford somehow ALWAYS ends up covering faster players that can hit the 3
Also, It isn't like Boston locked down the 3 point shooting of Miami and Cleveland, they had a ton of shots; they just missed everything because neither team could shoot. Indy can shoot. It is is also a recipe for disaster playing Al big minutes and having Kornet and Hauser, who are useless, playing minutes. This is going to be a tough series for Boston.
Of course a couple of these issues can be addressed if KP actually comes back.
