That's basically our lead. Changed the tempo of the game imo as soon as we used him.

There are no stats that show how brassett was seemingly always in a right position made some good stops and certainly did not get blown by off the dribble

His net +18 maybe a small sample size but I do not believe it was a fluke by any means..
2 things need to go.. my lack of spell check and Joe..

How big a snub was it? In history of 60 win teams in NBA, only 6 did not have 2 all NBA players. 3 were in era when there were only 2 all-NBA teams…..I believe 2 of those were 1986 Celtics and 1989 Lakers. One of modern teams was 2010 Cavs - understandable given Lebron was only good player on team and another was the Dirk led Mavs that lost in first round.

Meanwhile, Lakers have 2 even though they were a play-in team. Suns also had 2 and they get swept in first round.

Brown was victim of perception that Celtics have so many good players. Yet here we are again in ECF without Porzingas looking better than ever.
"I think the criticism's stupid," Stevens said. "So I don't care. I'm with Jaylen (Brown) on that. Those two had achieved more than most 25 and 26 year olds ever had. I'd rather be in the mix and have my guts ripped out than suck."

Brown for the VC, of course.

Jrue over White for the CP by the eye test and stat line alike.

The team co-leader in plus/minus gets sadly snubbed. (Brissett)

Nice win.

VC to Brown and White.

Brown was great!

White was really good. So was Jrue.

Pritchard was good. Al played well.

Brissett was a spark off the bench. I've been calling for him and Tillman to play over Kornet and Hauser. It took an injury to Kornet for Joe to play Brissett. He provided energy and defense and had 3 steals, 3 rebounds and a dunk.

Outside of a really good 3rd quarter, Tatum was bad. Hauser was bad.

I love Kornet and Hauser. I just don't want them in our 8 man rotation in the playoffs.

JB for the VC. Jrue for the CP. props to Dwhite as well.
JT came alive in the 2nd half. Wish he would totally abandon those dribble dribble 3’s. Just take the 3 if he’s wide open,or coming from a pass. Stop taking those ugly turn around fadeaways. Stop with all those ball stopping moves he’s been doing. Move the ball. If he do that, i think he will have a better start in games. PP played well. Brissett can actually matchup better with Turner. He’s physical and atheletic. He should be the back up to Al against the pacers. Would be good to give him as much burn with the starters, as we don’t know if Porzingis will actually play.

But also a beneficiary of the 65-game rule.

I do think Cs deserved at least 2 All-NBA teamers having lapped the field in the reg season. 14-game lead over East and something like 7-game lead over everyone. Much more deserving than the Lakers (play-in team) and Suns (not even a 50-win team) both having 2 each.

Like it or not, JBs game 7 last year probably helped cost him a spot.

If he keeps this run going, he wont get snubbed next year if he's on the bubble.

And 18 would be one helluva consolation prize
