Imagine the **** we'll get if we win a title with the best players on every team we faced being injured lol.

Who gives a ****

Us consistently going deep in the East makes people forget the injury issues we’ve had over the years.

Hayward’s ankle, Kyrie’s knee, Kemba’s knee, Rob’s knee, I could go on….

And if want to go back further KG’s knee injury in 2009 cost us a chip either in 2009 or 2010 (wasn’t the same player the next season).

OK..Sue me

I've been mostly fine with Joe these playoffs and thinking he's growing well as a head coach, I don't always agree with every one of his philosophies but I at least know they are grounded in a reason that he believes will have an advantage and the players buy into his strategies.

However I'm not the only one who has been wanting some Brissett minutes for a few weeks and am disappointed in Joe that it took the injury for him to go there. Kornet has been good but especially obvious this series was not a good one for him.

How big a snub was it? In history of 60 win teams in NBA, only 6 did not have 2 all NBA players. 3 were in era when there were only 2 all-NBA teams…..I believe 2 of those were 1986 Celtics and 1989 Lakers. One of modern teams was 2010 Cavs - understandable given Lebron was only good player on team and another was the Dirk led Mavs that lost in first round.

Meanwhile, Lakers have 2 even though they were a play-in team. Suns also had 2 and they get swept in first round.

Brown was victim of perception that Celtics have so many good players. Yet here we are again in ECF without Porzingas looking better than ever.

Brown was also a victim of the change in the voting rules. He was the 16th highest vote getter, and would have made it if they hadn't allowed 7 guards on the teams.

But also a beneficiary of the 65-game rule.

I do think Cs deserved at least 2 All-NBA teamers having lapped the field in the reg season. 14-game lead over East and something like 7-game lead over everyone. Much more deserving than the Lakers (play-in team) and Suns (not even a 50-win team) both having 2 each.

I'm not sure that mattered. Would Bam or AD have been listed as a forward under the old rules? If not, then Embiid making the team would hardly have mattered to Brown's chances. Who else was kept off by the 65 games limit?

More OB minutes. At least a few.

Pritchard was very good for us in the minutes he contributed off the bench.

The maturity and growth of that young man in the last 12 months has been extraordinary.

I am very proud of him

Randle was having an awesome stretch and Knicks were barely losing when he went down. Markkanen another guy who's put up great numbers but without the wins. And yeah, Bam and AD could easily be slotted at forward if Cs are already filled up.

JT had 23 pts, 9-20 FGs

White 23 pts, 8-15 FGs

White played great.

JT was not very good.

Other players getting 23 in a playoff game is great.

But if you're JT, that's not good enough.

That's why he got 300m.

But a decent amount of Cs fans wanted Brad to trade him for Dame.

Just when I thought Jaylen couldn't possibly be any more likeable, he comes out with that doozie !

He got that Alpha/Leader Mentality in him.

This playoff run of his is really shaping up as a legacy defining one for JB.

Relevant. I was forgetting him. But it wasn't awesome enough to overcome him only playing 46 games.

Markkanen another guy who's put up great numbers but without the wins.

Jaylen's defense also got attention.

And yeah, Bam and AD could easily be slotted at forward if Cs are already filled up.

Not so easy this season given their teams' lack of other center options.

Good win, exactly what we needed to do. Some things on my mind:

- Horford didn't play 40 minutes tonight (great)
- Brissett and a Tatum at center line up (great)
- Tillman would have been nice once Kornet went down, but with Turner in trouble size became less of an issue (great)
- Jaylen (great)
- Tatum, I'm keeping perspective, but can we see just one great game start to finish from our #1!? (not so great)
- I have no worries about this series (pretty good)

Investment paying off.

JB's 300m and Jrue's 135m.

Good win but what in the hell Rick was doing.
Why did he pull Siakam and others so early in 4th

I keep harping on it but the kind of energy and athleticism boost Oshae brings could be vital to our championship hopes. I hope Joe gives X a run because he could give us a toughness boost!
