I know the Pacers are bad on defense but .................

Pritchard has a wide open lane to the basket. I know he made the shot, but i would still go for the easy two. Lol

Or they play him 10mins for conditioning and confidence.

No way. Turner would've recovered by the time PP gets to the rim. And he would've needed to continue his dribble or pass it out again. That's a wide open three he should be taking every time.

It would be different if he was already cutting baseline and White's pass was leading him to the rim.

Nah. Watched it over and over, he could very well went to the basket uncontested. Turner wasn’t even looking. Even if that happened, an easy 5footer would still be better.

Uncontested 3 from Pritchard who's shooting 47.5% from there over contested 2. But your aversion for threes is duly noted.

Mazzulla has drilled the Celtics on every position, in every lineup, so they can step into these random matchups at the sprain of a wrist. After the second unit got torched early in Game 1, he was a big part of why the Celtics’ second unit went on a 17-0 run and seized control of the game.

“That’s something that Joe really likes,” Brissett said. “We play sometimes with two bigs or one or none, so everyone out there has to know every single position, whether you’re off the ball or in the action.

“We don’t know what they’re about to throw out, so we’ve gotta be prepared and ready.”

Evidently Jared Weiss hasn't realized that Joe is an idiot who doesn't do any coaching.

Yep, he's a bottom 5 coach over the past 40+ years. The players must be making the adjustments!

Carlisle with a bogus explanation why he put in the bench guys in the 4th. Is he trying to get fired for another job opening?

Not worth it IMO.

Cs will have a week off if they make it to the finals.

Limited minutes in a Game 4 is a high risk low reward scenario.

It's a different story if the Cs lose Game 4 because that means the Cs will surely play a Game 5.

If that's the case then KP playing Games 4 and 5 will be worth the risk.

74-20 for the season.

Sure but in 68 of those wins, the other team was missing its best player.

Literally almost none of those teams even have Middleton on it.

The latest is Jaylen Brown for Giannis.

Joe seems dubious about KP's availability that soon anyway.

Yeah, it's a long shot that Indy upsets Boston.

So if KP returns in the finals, it will be 6 weeks after the injury.

That's very ideal compared to a 4-week timeline.

The Pacers' had to play 6 games in the first round then 7 games in the second round then go directly into the Celtics series
48 hours later and play an overtime game.

Honestly he probably just saw the score, saw Halliburton was out, and decided their best bet was to get the rotation guys a bit of a rest and try to make a last stand at home where they are 6-0 this playoff run. I don't think that would be crazy.

Yeah, but he made multiple big mistakes in game one too.
