I think OMax is a far reach, but Lawson might be an option.
Lawson did get some meaningful burn with the team this season and he appeared to be fairly productive.
I've been saying for quite some time that Lawson can do the things we need Green to do and probably better. He's got to be one of the fastest guys in the league and has great lateral quickness. Great on fast breaks and disciplined in the half court game knowing his specific role.

Kidd won't change rotation anymore, unless injuries force him to.

Every coach should try and pivot and adjust when things dont work or someone is a detriment to the team. Green is more of a liability than asset in most cases.

It's extremely rare that coach starts playing someone, who didn't play almost anything the whole season, in WCF.

True, but Hardy didnt get much time during the previous rounds and is now playing. Given what green has shown, not a bad idea to let Lawson have some of those minutes. I mean Green had 4 stupid plays that cost this team points and momentum, Lawson cant do any worse.

I think we have the worst bench of any team still playing although Lively is great. Just not a lot of good options. At least Kidd is trying to play THJ less and saw that the playoffs aren't meant for Exum and pretty much benched him. I applaud him for both.

It's the best backup 5/4 in thee PO, bench guards are horrible though, but Wolves and Celtics aren't very good either.

Wolves have Naz Reid 6MOY, NAW and Kyle Anderson. That's far superior to us. When Porzingis comes back Celtics will have to bring Porzingis or Horford off the bench. Horford is old but still better than you'd think, and Pritchard hits some clutch 3s. Celtics and Mavs probably have the 2 worst, but Wolves is as about as good as it gets.

Lively is great though I often have to remind myself he comes off the bench. We just get nothing much out of anyone else off the bench at all except an occasional Green 3. Hardy is showing a little something. THJ used to be sufficient at least on offense now with his fall off it's hurt our depth. Hardaway was actually overall our 3rd best scorer in the regular season, but in the playoffs he's 9th. Then not having Maxi which can't be helped.

The refs are putting their stank on the game. Calling it for the home team right now. The mistakes and missed wide open shots by some of the role players is what worries me. We'll see how it goes but we knew this before the playoffs started.

Mavs have to correct the mistakes by the role players. They're playing scared for lack of better words. They need to collect themselves. Not being able to grab a rebound, air balls, silly defensive mistakes. We gotta be more mentally tough...cant wait around for a savior when Minny is playing desperate right now.

I think it is easier to hate on other guys such as Green or THJ at this point than coach Kidd who has been doing a decent job lately.

The refs can sure set a tone in the first quarter everything Mavs did was a foul and they wouldn't call anything on Wolves. Oh well this games probably over.

The Mavs have to do a better job with their pick and role defense. They're better off running a zone if we're gonna guard it that poorly.
