Roma 1 - 3 Bologna ... Thiago Motta's men look certain to finish top 5 now for a Champions league spot. For the sake of the champions league, one can only hope they are able to retain their star players (mainly Zirkzee) and their coach. But personally I hope they both join Juve this summer.
The battle for final CL spot may go down to the wire for Roma and Atalanta, but interestingly they both can potentially win the Europe League still.
The Milan derby starts soon, and I believe Inter clinch the title with a win in what has been an unexciting title race.

The conditions look absolutely horrid at the San Siro right now, but looking like Inter will secure the Scudetto today.
It's time for 5 refs.

Inter did indeed clinch the Scudetto. congrats to them (I guess )
Juve squeeze by Lazio to advance to the Coppa Italia finals vs Atalanta who took care of Fiorentina and are really in top form at the moment.
Teun Koopmeiners has been one of the best midfielders in all of Europe this season, and Scamacca has finally looked like a star striker for the first time in his career these past couple of months.
1. Inter .......86
2. Milan ......69
3. Juve .......64
4. Bologna ...62
5. Roma ......58
6. Atalanta ...54
7. Lazio .......52
8. Napoli ......49
9. Fiorentina ..47
10. Torino ......46
there remains a chance that six teams can be in CL next season

Bologna and Juventus join Inter and Milan in the Champions League next season. Congrats to Bologna, hopefully they can keep Zirkzee and Thiago Motta another season (unless of course they both want to join Juve )
It will be Bologna's first time in the Champions League (European Cup) since 1964-65, and their most recent action in Europe was the 1999-2000 UEFA Cup (Europa League) and 2002 Intertoto cup.
Meanwhile, Atalanta beat Roma yesterday to pass them in the standings with a game in hand for 5th place--the final CL spot.
Atalanta can do them both a favor by winning the Europa League, but no one in their right mind would bet on them to beat Neverlusen this season.

In addition, Coppa Italia finals between Juve - Atalanta is on Wednesday. Juve have been so bad, I fully expect them to lose, and kind of hope for a loss so the "let's keep Allegri" boat sinks completely.

Well Magik, you got the best possible outcome. You won the Coppa Italia AND Allegri has been sacked.

Bayern might jump at Allegri now that he is available.

I think they got their eyes set on Vincent Kompany for now.
Not sure what he has done at Burnley to prove himself other than being relegated.
Haven't followed them.
Maybe Allegri is next in line if Kompany doesn't want to take the job.

Atalanta winning the EL makes it possible for Serie A to have SIX teams in the Champions League next season...
If Atalanta finishes outside of the top 4, then Roma will join them (along with Inter, Milan, Juve, and Bologna) in the CL.
However, Atalanta has two games left, whereas Roma and the top 4 teams only have one remaining.

confirmed: eight Italian teams in Europe next season. 5 in CL
Conte to Napoli looks like a done deal. This is HUGE for them, but we still have to see what their summer is like. Osimhen and Kvara may leave. Di Lorenzo is already on his way out.

New era for Napoli. Might end up becoming a legend there.
Good luck and make sure to beat Juve and Milan.

Considering Napoli's lack of funds and conte's track record, I can only assume that things will end UGLY between Conte and De Laurentiis. But he's certainly the right man for the job until then.
Meanwhile, Paulo Fonseca takes over at Milan. He did not impress anyone during his stint at Roma...it's giving serious Rudi Garcia to Napoli vibes

But you have a good point.
AC Milan is a hot steaming pile right now.
Good thing they don’t try to emulate the brilliant work of Atalanta or Bologna.
Juve being Juve, already rebounding with a Cup and hiring a very promising coach in Motta.
