I havent watched much of the clips this year, was kawhi really deserving of the 2nd team?

I got Arvydas' boy over AD and Kawhi on that second team. That's just me.

The only teams to have 2 players were 6th and 7th seed Phoenix and Lakers. I’m tired of NBA ramming over the hill KD and Lebron as still top players down our throats. Donovan Mitchell was really good this year, KAT awesome, Jalen Brown not there is weird. Watch Lebron play and he’s not great anymore. Lots of turnovers and ref help and effortless defence.

Lebron 100% deserved it and had a case for 2nd team. 26-7-8 and shot the 3 above 40% on the year. 7th in BPM, 6th in VORP, 6th in PER, 9th in eRAPTOR among starters, 7th in WAR. I really don't understand how anyone can argue he doesn't deserve 3rd team.

Mitchell and KAT didn't play enough games and were ineligible for All-NBA this year. Jaylen Brown had a good second half of the season but was not good to begin it. He deserves to be on there over Haliburton but has no claim over KD and Lebron.

To have these supermax contracts and the new 2nd apron rules means your home grown players winning awards like sneaking onto 3rd team nba can really hurt team building. Even with OKC where Shai obviously deserves it, you might be staring down another supermax or two soon. Haliburton at supermax and supposedly maxing Pascal puts the Pacers up against it almost immediately. This system is wrong. The supermax is fine but I feel like the salary for luxury tax, apron purposes should be recorded as regular max so teams aren’t punished for drafting and developing well.

This is why the Warriors voted against the new CBA.

However the owners want parity and they’re starting to get it. NBA will soon be like other major North American leagues where you won’t be able to predict the winner going into each season.

To be a contender, we are going to need to acquire at least an All NBA 3rd team player. Masai better be acquiring more tradeable assets because if we can't draft one, then we have to trade for one.
