Particularly I wanted to focus on Hamby:

2024 stats so far: 22.0 PPG, 13.7 RPG, 2.0 SPG

Hamby's comeback last season after giving birth to her second child in March 2023 was remarkable: She was the only Sparks player to appear in all 40 games. This year, the former two-time Sixth Player of the Year aims to get not only an All-Star bid, but MVP votes. If she continues to play like she has so far, both could be possible

The Aces look crazy as hell for trading her because she got pregnant. I have respect for the team but that never sat right with me. You shouldnt get dumped/traded due to a normal life event. I would hope that the next CBA has language regarding this because that's not right at all. Protect the players..

With the two new teams coming into the league, I'd love to see the rosters expanded from 12 players to 15 (or even 14). With two teams worth of roster spots, plus another two (or three) spots per team, it would give the teams the flexibility to accomodate players who go through 'injuries' like pregnancy. It would also allow raw draft picks to stick with the team and learn/grow with the best instead of being cut.

I was saying this, they need to expand roster sizes to 15 once the two new teams come in.

If someone gets pregnant, they shouldn't lose a roster spot, there should be an exemption list or something. It just seems unconscionable to me that a player will get punished for becoming a mother it's a natural life event ffs

Pretty sure they shared a graphic during the last Fever game that said Clark, Candace Parker, and Ionescu, are the only players in WNBA history to have 85+ points and 25+ assists in their first five games.

People need to seriously relax. CC is gonna be an all timer, I have no doubts. 17ppg 5rpg 6apg from a rookie is nothing to sneeze at

Ah yes, Caitlin Clark the giant bust who is... 15th in the league in scoring, 8th in assists and shooting better than Arike, Loyd, Taurasi, Plum and Sabrina. Sure the turnovers need to decrease but I'd take that 'bust' any day of the week.

Yeah this stuff is crazy and again, it it plain ignorance that ppl underestimated how great WNBA players are and how good every single person in the league has to be to make those 12 person rosters. First round picks routinely get cut!

Like...have people watched pro hoops before? Star rookies on bad teams is the norm.

So far this season going into this game, both Sun and the Sky (ha) are shooting 28% from 3. A far cry from the NBA, and it really warms my heart that the 3 isn't that important in the W.
