Troll so annoying..... Lots of people say here how Dallas was good, i even say 1 week ago that Dallas was the best NBA team last 2 months with an impressive better defense than ours. So no one surprised here. And they got Luka MVP player when ANT is a player under construction.
Now we have nothing to lose, we have to go there and fight as hard as we can. Go Wolves!

lol you can’t be serious. I heard on a Dallas radio station that the Wolves are one of the worst clutch teams in the NBA. Keep it close and you’ll beat em. Looks pretty accurate to me. Buncha chokers. And I wouldn’t be so callous if their fans weren’t so unjustifiably arrogant and over-confident.
Special last post just for you big boy.

You are right. You are better than the 73-9 Warriors and the 72-10 Bulls combined. You can't be stopped.
lol, I never said anything of the sort. Just that the Wolves have played piss-poor at the end of the games so far, just like the analysts said they might. They may still win the series, but they better get big leads. And btw, you sound like a cry-baby.
When someone says, "to make a long story short", it's usually too late.

What is it with these dumba* DAL troll bots. Cuban should upgrade them to Chat-GPT4, at least that would be half amusing.
Not here to be amusing. Here to spew facts. Sorry those are so maddening for you. Maybe your team is not as good as you thought? I heard all week how easy this was gonna be. We troll bots from Dallas knew the Mavs were pretty damn good but no one from OKC or Minny believed us. How you like us now? But since you have KAT in your name, prob not much.

Not worried, they now have more game tape to prepare better. They just need to play with more urgency. That out of bounds challenge was huge for Dallas and wrong for all reasons even the announcers we're pointing it out.
Guess this makes Tony Brothers and Scott Foster call ticky tack fouls agains Dallas when we get them to extend the series

You don't switch your slowfooted 7'2 center onto Luka Doncic at the top of the arc with the game on the line.
You just don't.
It's horrible, horrible, horrible, horrible, horrible, horrible basketball and the coaching staff NEVER would have wanted them to do that.
I could not have said it better! How in hell do you allow Rudy to defend Luka on the perimeter? I will never understand that one.
Still, their two best players beat the sheet out of our two best players and we lose by 1.
Turnovers in the 4th qtr late have killed us both games. Ant in particular.
Rudy defended good. He made that shot over many guys this game.
Like last game it’s the easy lob that did us in.
Love Conley but stretch to end first half and some uncharacteristic stuff was glaring. Wasted great games from Jalen and Naz in games there for the taking. That’s Ant and KAT in big picture and other guys if you want to nit pick the rest,
You have to blitz that. If you wait until Lively is set on the screen you have already lost.
Luka should have been trapped long before he reached the middle of the court.
You trap and cut the court in half and trust your teammates to rotate behind you.
Worst case you get a skip pass to the weakside corner if everyone does their job correctly.
Gobert made the decision to lay off and switch and it cost us the game.

So hard to swallow...
Edwards disappeared the last two games, showing the difference between an established superstar (Doncic and Irving) and one who will be one but is still immature.
Now it's very very difficult...

Re: WCF Game 2: Dallas at Minnesota, 7:30 p.m.
Karl and Ant have had back to back horrible games (Any may be injured.) Jaden disappeared tonight on offense and NAW still hasn’t realized the playoffs are still ongoing. Finch has been very bad with his schemes and rotations. I agree with the commentary that Rudy should not have been out there at the end, should have been Karl (Rudy had 5 fouls and overtime was a realistic possibility.) I also think we need to change the scheme because that many dunks and uncontested putbacks is beyond bad, it is beyond unacceptable, it is calamitous. The most painful part of this is Dallas isn’t playing well. They give up a lot of open shots, miss a lot of shots, and are extremely beatable. We are just beating ourselves. It’s like watching a prize fighter drop his hands and take a pounding just because he can. This series is still winnable, but it is that much harder now, and if Karl and Ant don’t wake up soon, then we are gonna be over the cliff before they do.

Re: WCF Game 2: Dallas at Minnesota, 7:30 p.m.
That entire 4th quarter was predictable. I told my brother in early 3rd, this ever changing double digit lead matters **** all, because our offense doesn't have a reliable go to option right now (Ant before Game 6 denver was, not anymore), so if we not hitting 3s later on, we will be out schemed and just become turn over prone. Exactly what happend.
Turnovers, turnovers and more turnovers. Prior to that we just being out coached by other side. Yeah they have 2 better superstar scorers that are super reliable to get iso bucket. But their fundamental offensive gameplan is basically out schemed our defence. We did not lose because of hail Mary step back 3, that's just Luka doing Luka things. We lost because we allowed gazillion lob dunks to 2 solid high energy bigs ALL GAME. Again. If you can't figure that out you have no hope whatsoever.
It doesn't matter our 2 scoring stars are no shows and we not getting reliable buckets when it's needed over entire 4th. It's because we allowing them easy auto buckets on lobs 24/7. We stopped blitzing for some reason, and gave open lanes under basket overhelping on screen or on corner shooters when they couldn't hit corner 3s.
Our coaching has alot to figure out gameplaning for these schemes, and figuring out these hairebrained rotations they do final 5-6 minutes of clutch time.
And oh how about stop turning over the ball every possession at end. 2 games in a row of that. What was the point sitting Conley for Slowmo when we needed better decision making? What was his purpose out there either way? (Switch defence? Smh).

I agree with you. Finally we handle Kyrie and Luka pretty well but got smashed by Gafford and Lively who both combined does not make half salary of KAT or Rudy. Totally unacceptable.

Not to defend the guy trolling, but many on this board have dismissed the Mavericks, treating them like a joke, predicting a 5 game series that would be easier than Denver. That's disrespectful, so it shouldn't surprise when guys clap back. We should fairly assess the situation and both teams.

Some of us did. I tell before the series start that we should play as the underdog as Dallas got the best team since 2 months after they retools including the best defense data.
This is the coaching job to remind them .
Our big got totally outplayed but our coaching has been pretty poor on my opinion. And i don't blame ANT or Mike who both play through injuries.

Most Mavs fans haven't been high on the coach, but I have to give him credit, Kidd has been great during these playoffs so far. Is the fact that your coach has to sit behind the bench affecting his performance?

I am sorry predicting a 4 game sweep or 5 game win is not disrespectful if you give good reason or simply feel you have a good team. You can predict a DAL sweep too. It seems a bunch of DAL trolls have inferiority complex. Maybe feeling privileged because Twolves fan shouldn't feel good or confident about their team because they never achieved anything. You have to like DAL. It's not basketball talk. Do any Wolves guys go to DEN and SUN to harass them? There is a fine line between debating about the game vs showing off. Many of you seems to cross it regularly.
Return to Minnesota Timberwolves
