This matters why exactly??? Steph runs people ragged and needs little space so he gets open often.

Don't mind him. He'll come up with the most nonsensical stuff and invent things just to say something that sounds bad about Curry.

How does anyone get open without movement? Telekinesis? But even that involves moving something....

if you don't know what I mean by movement then I guess you dont have a good grasp of the game

I agree with him. Strictly offense, they are better than Steph/Klay and CP3/Harden.

People are ignoring the “offensive” backcourt part. Klay is a better shooter than Kyrie and that’s it. He’s nowhere as dynamic and not better at anything else then spot up 3s. Creating a 3 or 2 or a play for others, it’s not close. The difference between Steph and Luka is not much and Luka will likely surpass him when their careers are over. So yes offensively this is not as close as people in this thread are arguing.

ESPN hated Kobe for like a decade after Colorado, you are confused....

Come on, Kyrie is a better all-around offensive player than Klay. The only thing Klay is better at is 3pt shooting.

3pt shooting is the biggest weapon in today's game. Kyrie/Luka win a couple titles then it becomes a discussion.

Luka passing and playmaking over Steph and Kyrie's versatility and even passing over Klay makes up for a lot of that.

The argument of how many Klay/Steph's titles together as a duo, when they have played 536 games together, while Luka and Kyrie have played 67 together, is just dumb.

maybe in the clutch they are but let's be serious, considering an entire season, we might never see again a duo like healthy CP3 and Harden at his best

We'll never see a duo that folds in the clutch like them probably

Kyrie is no slouch in that department and the rest is also important.

Not sure what titles have to do with the discussion. We are not talking about the rest of the team or about defense.

lol Kyrie is one of the greatest shooters *ever* and he can create his own threes easily.

To me this is between Luka/Kyrie and Harden/CP3.

Individually I give Harden/CP the nod. Luka is better than Harden, but CP is better than Kyrie by a bigger margin. That margin shrinks in the playoffs and the one between Luka and Harden grows, but the one between Cp and Kai is still bigger.

Saying that, I think Luka and Kyrie synergize with each other better. As mid as Luka can be off ball, Harden revolutionized off the ball laziness and those two almost never played together in the halfcourt. They were just existing on the same team.

So i’d give Luka and Kyrie the nod as best backcourt. I dont take Steph Klay seriously because Klay doesnt belong in the discussion with the others mentioned.

To be named by others is better than self claimed. Back in 2014, when Beal was claiming him and John Wall teh best nba backcourts, Dion Waiters laughed them off saying him and Kyrie are the best :banghead:
