Toronto Denver

Michael Porter JR
Denver 1st 2024

For

Bruce Brown
Chris Boucher

The Raptors may never want to deal with that family again lol but this is objectively a good deal for them. Get a look at a younger player who fits a need as a shooter. Get another late 1st to take another swing (ulriche?)

Poetl
Barnes
Porter jr
Barrett
Quickley

Not amazing but has some upside if Barnes and Barrett can take a leap

Denver clears some bad long term money and gets a guy they loved who helped them win last year. Boucher is useful expiring

Based on Masai's recent GM history I'm sure he does.

So, Denver trades 3/4 option on championship team to get back our 6th player from the same run who had a bad season, and Pacers/Raptors wanted to get rid of him as fast as they could? Oh, and add a pick too.

I don't know how people here got idea that MPJ is some negative contract Denver is trying to get rid of. I understand before when he didn't play due to injury, but after championship run I tought it will end. If other team want championship winnig, 3rd option, the best catch and shoot SF in the league, it will have to pay accordingly, but I don't think Denver will trade him anyway.

MPJ had bad series, yes. Before Minnesota series he was our 2nd best player against Lakers. Thay would pay a lot to get him, but again I don't think Denver will trade him.

Take out the 1st.

Also, Denver probably wants to get rid of Zeke Najis contract, and resign KCP. Toronto can absorb that for a TPE.

Much cleaner deal and the motivation is there for both teams.
