So if the only difference between picking 1st in a draft and picking last is the 1st and according to you that first pick doesn’t matter. Does that mean that the Bills would be just as good with Mason Rudolph as they are with Josh Allen? That's strawman. My point was that "REBUILDING" a team is much more than than ONE high pick.

You were trying to suggest that a team must "tank" in order to rebuild. In the NFL all tanking does is give you a better gamble on ONE SINGLE PLAYER.

That’s not what I suggested. I said I would prefer for the Cowboys to tank. I’m sick of being a treadmill team. I would rather the Cowboys tank. At least that way I have the draft to look forward to. I would be excited about them having the #1 pick. What do I have to look forward to right now, another 1 and done season.

Cowboys won't have to try too hard to tank moving forward. Dak is the QB and McCarthy is still the coach. It will come naturally. Dak and Mike to the rescue. WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I said after the Packer loss in the playoffs that I would be totally out if they brought back McCarthy and Dumb Dak. I'm sticking to my guns. First time in 54 years I have been totally out on my Cowboys.

There are actually worse things than losing in the playoffs.

This is the difference between the old school Cowboy fans and the new right here. I'm borrowing a line from another Cowboy fan and a friend of mine that I totally agree with that can sum it up in one line. " Us old school Cowboy fans have always believed and know playoff advancement is the benchmark of pro sports."

The ankle sprain is a non-issue. He rolled it at a recent camp for TE’s. He’ll be fine by camp.

The bigger question is will CeeDee show up to camp. He doesn’t have a new contract yet and I don’t see him showing up to camp if he doesn’t. Without CeeDee the Cowboys don’t have much at WR.

I mostly agree with you and 100% with Cam but as far as legacy is concerned? Cowboy QBs have unique situations, as seen by the fact that Dak has a 53 page thread in here and all those QBs listed in that video do not. And as seen by the fact that Cam is having to point out a list where Dak is removed for not winning post season games with QBs that have also not won post season games.

Most of those guys will be remembered kind of like Phillip Rivers, "oh he was good but not great.". But if any of them were in a Cowboys uniform they would have a mob of haters like Romo and Dak.

Cowboys aside though, most fans give the QB WAY WAY WAY WAY WAY WAY too much credit for wins and loses. I think that is biggest flaw that haunts a lot of football debates. And for me, that is the single biggest facet in distinguishing knowledgeable fans that have great input to offer from unrealistic fans who are just flat out incapable of seeing all thigs going on outside of the QB.

Some of it is the media's fault though. They create drama and sensationalize the position. NFL QBs SHOULD NOT EVER BE CREDITED WITH WINS AND LOSSES. That shouldn't even be a thing. Games are decided by FGs and fumbles every week. It's ridiculous to give the QB full credit for a game involving so many athletes. MLB pitchers shouldn't even get full credit but at least in that sport the pitcher doesn't have to rely on 5 athletes blocking for him and star athletes catching his pitches.

That’s exactly how Dak will be remembered when all is said and done, he was good but. Ot great. That’s also how Romo is remembered.
