I have to say, Tankathon is such a pleasure to use. It's a real treat to have an easy to digest resource for draft stuff in an era of awful, bloated webpages. The Ringer's draft guide makes me want to kill myself.

On a selfish, non-Sixers related draft issue, I was thrilled to see Chaz Lanier withdraw from the draft and sign with UT for his final college season. Barnes has put together a very nice group in what appeared to be a rebuilding season after losing four starters including Knecht.

As a UK fan, I was pissed. We needed a self creator and didn’t get him. I heard Pope was turned off by him during the visit, but that doesn’t excuse how everyone on the team is an off ball shooter.

I wonder why Pope was turned off, possibly the agent. From everything I've heard and read, he's a great kid and his mom fell in love with Barnes' no nonsense honesty. It was his agent who tried to gin up a bidding war, and Lanier's mom shut him down in the end. I liked the fact that Barnes wanted Ziegler and Mashack to sign off before fully committing to Lanier, much like what they did with Knecht.

Quote I heard is he’s an “a**hole” from a source. To that, I said: he’s a gunner who defied the odds of getting out of UNF, getting invited to the G League combine, and has top programs fighting for his services. I’d be an a**hole too.

Should Tennessee be more hype for Darlinstone Dubar?
6'6' 207 pounds, career .406 3PAr, can rebound and block some shots.

Carter plays Smart’s role which is the same role of the backcourt partner were looking for Maxey.

I think Devin Carter is too small to play the Marcus Smart role. I can't see Devin Carter guarding 1 through 4. The only under 6'4" player in the league that can play the Marcus Smart role is Lu Dort, IMO. Nobody else is built like that.

The guy everyone seems the most hyped for is Igor Milicic, a 6'10" PF transfer from Charlotte. Adding Lanier, Dubar, Milicic, and Felix Okpara, a 6'11" center from Ohio State is a pretty good haul.

Jrue Holiday can do it too.

I'm still not sure if he projects as a scoring core guy or just a connective glue piece, but Pelle Larsson should be on our radar.
Measured 6'5.25" and 212.4 pounds at the combine. Has some Bogdan Bogdanovi to his game. Ideal SG to play next to Maxey.
Shooting ability and above the rim finishing on display here:

I keep watching his Cashiggy videos and he always lets me down. I’ve been trying to get excited about him but he gets blocked too easily, makes stupid decisions at times… I think I’m out on him unfortunately.

Dunbar is the Knecht imo. Killer off-season for Tennessee.

I get that. Unfortunately, his scoring numbers are very underwhelming, as well.
However, based on size and playstyle, he seems like an ideal candidate for a long NBA career.
My concern is whether or not he's a 10+ ppg playoff player of just a 4-6 PPG playoff player.
Negro, what do you think about other college role players like Harrison Ingram, Jalen Bridges, and Coleman Hawkins?
I feel like all these guys are ideal positional players in terms of size and playstyle. But the production just isn't there (same with Larrson).

Interesting. That's pretty next level that they're targeting guys that excel at a few specific traits like spacing and finishing
That Igor dude seems promising. Stretch four with size. Damn, Tennessee was a fun team to watch this year, might be even more fun next year. Still not a fan of Z, though.

LOL just realized someone finally got Tucker Devries to transfer. It was family related, though. Looking forward to seeing him at West Virginia to see if he can keep up his numbers.

Harrison Ingram also seems like another weird body bro. Not a fan of those types.
Measured at 6'5.25" and 233.6 pounds. Some Grant Williams dimensions.
