Somebody's edgy.

Because he should have called a timeout with 8 seconds left. 2nd game this series with questionable decisions. Out Mazzulling Joe Mazzulla.

Bingo!

JT missed the layup and Nembhard got the rebound with 7 seconds remaining.

But Rick didn't call timeout.

It ended with Jrue stealing the ball from Nembhard and only 3 seconds remaining left.

Ps **** Carlisle if he’s cranking about the refs. After that trash call on the Turner missed three.

In the postgame interview, JT said Joe told them to stop feeling sorry for themselves when the Pacers had a big lead.

Looking forward to Timi's comeback video for this game. Guy's been producing great Celts videos for years.

CLNS is outta their minds, X was excellent on D IMO. I swear people think all you gotta do is score. HE WAS ON THEIR ASS! Watch it again! Sometimes the +/- gets it right. Not saying he was the best player, not close, simply saying he had a big impact.

I was calling for Hauser's bench after game 1. Nothing personal. Love Hauser. But he's confidence is shot. We are trying to win a title. I was calling for Brissett. Brissett was huge in game 2. Joe misused him in game 3 and didn't play him enough.

It's clearly this. Hauser is rattled. That sequence where the ball swung to Al who had an open 3, but decided to make that extra pass to Sam was telling. Sam airballed the shot and ruined a perfectly good sequence.

Agree with all the above.. I am a big Hauser supporter but if he Has lost his confidence at this time of year been even I will say limit him to just a few minutes.. If he can make his first one and get it going fine.. But I do not want to wait around for him to get his rhythm and confidence back.. We are so deep in the playoffs now..

Joe has to do what's best for the team..
2 things need to go.. my lack of spell check and Joe..

Horford great after having 2 bad shooting games.

Games 3 and 4 against the Cavs was so bad that Celtic fans wanted Joe to sit Al.
But Al had the game of of his life in Game 5 with 6 3s and 22 points and 15 rebounds.

In this series, Al was just 3-13 from 3 in Games 1 and 2.

Then Game 3 happened.

Need KP back cuz the bench production is booty and he just flat out gives them so many options when either Tatum and Jaylen sit.

He just can't get the separation he's used to when the intensity is ratcheted up for the playoffs. This happens to a lot of shooters when they move from the college to the NBA. Sometimes they can make the adjustment eventually. Maybe Sam will, but he's got 1-2 more games to start showing it or he needs to be on the shelf for the postseason.

On the other hand his spacing is helpful anyways, and he's not getting abused defensively most of the time. I think he can eat up some minutes here and there in some matchups. For the finals our top 6 need to each play big minutes, with the exception of Horford (hopefully, assuming KP is healthy). That just leaves 30 or so minutes for the bench. I'm pretty confident in Pritchard to cover us at guard. I think Tillman is good at C. Hauser/Brisset are the weak point, but at least they are very different and complementary bench pieces.

Pritch isn't consistently there yet but he's going to end up being what TJ is now but a much better shooter from 3. I can't wait for him to get there. Needs to find a way to do his best consistently.

We're way up in the series. Great time to try and get Sam going. Joe is dumb but we can run Sam off a few pin down curls for open shots.

He's been a defensive beast in switching schemes AND against high quality post players (such as AD). Brad was smart to bring him in. He's been criminally underutilized by Joe. That Kornet injury was huge for us.

BTW, can anyone on this board explain how that wasn't a clear path foul on Jrue? The whole "he tried to make a move to avoid contact" is total horse hockey.

Marc Davis was doing everything he could to get the Pacers a win for the entire game, that's how.

He's a bad coach but being friendly with the players isn't really a problem.
