One of the less mentioned players I would like to have is Lauri and hope he turn to Dirk-lite, if we don't extend Randle. However it's still more likely to extend Randle than not.

Yes, I agree about that. I eventually deleted the app and stopped posting after Musk really fcked things up but then I started back on a very limited basis. I only follow and read the posts of a limited number of people and organizations that I trust or am familiar with. It’s the only way to get up to date reports from certain journalists.

I have been very open to the idea of swapping out Randle for a younger Lauri but I have concerns with how he would fit into Thibs' offense. Utah runs a ton of off ball action that can generate quality looks for him. I worry in Thibs' offense he would be forced to create more of his offense in isolation which is not his strength and he would be largely dependent on Brunson drawing attention to get him looks which may lessen the amount of shots he would get.

I'm curious how Kyle Anderson would fit on the Knicks' roster. His shooting concerns me and he has that same bad habit Hart has of turning down quality looks which can kill a half-court offense but he does provide some things the team could use.

He can give you minutes at the 3 or 4. He provides defensive versatility and length. He is not a true point guard but I believe he would be a better game manager than McBride and would allow Deuce to play off the ball in the second unit at times and hopefully be able to rest Brunson a little longer at times.

Thibs would probably have to stagger his minutes with Hart because those 2 plus a traditional big would make the offense unplayable. I wonder what he would cost to acquire in free agency. I think I would prefer to bring him in on a 2-3 year deal for cheap rather than bring Precious back.
