They are going to blow them out. They have not played a great game really only a couple the whole playoffs. If they play D it's a 15+ point win

The Pacers deserve credit for their incredible shooting but it's over for the them tomorrow. They play fast and don't waste a dribble. Very well organized offense. Our defense will look a lot more dominant in the Finals especially if the rotations are tightened.

I see this guy's tweets a lot but I don't really know how reliable he is. That said, here's the tweet:

Pascal Siakam has an active 12-game losing streak vs. the Celtics. He's lost 17 of the last 18 to them, including playoffs.

Myles Turner (0-7) has yet to win vs. the Celtics in the playoffs. He and McDermott (returnee) are the only ones remaining from the team that got swept by the Cs in 2019 R1.

The stress of losing close games might have fried Carlisle's brain cells. OBVIOUSLY the league will make preps in the event Cs win on their home floor. DUH. It doesn't mean Cs will or that it's the league's preference. This is like when fans make more out of teams reserving flights or booking hotels to the next NBA city even before they win their current series. The root word of logistics is logos, meaning "reason." They're just doing what's reasonable.

Balloon drop in the old Lakers arena (I forget whether it was the Forum or the Sports Arena), which of course never happened -- unlike the Sixers confetti drop that stupidly did.

carlisle is such a **** idiot lol. why WOULDN'T the league make plans to do a trophy presentation when a team is up 3-0 in the series. i understand motivation tactics but for real this just makes him look like a **** moron.

you dont need to be an nba coach who gets "special" info to know the league would be planning a trophy presentation after tomorrow's game. and the reason they're planning that presentation is because the celtics are going to beat his **** team for the 4th straight time and book their ticket to the nba finals.

Well in theory, I would assume KP would practice first (today?) to get at least one practice in. That and I am not sure how hard of a practice our team has anyhow with only one day in-between.

The team has barely practiced in the playoffs.

They practice more in the playoffs than the regular season.

That's pretty silly to get upset about. There's a potentiality that the c's could close out the series in game 4, so they should have things prepared in case that happens. It's not a slight. It's not the league saying "We think this will happen." It's more like, "This could happen, so there are preparations we need to do."

Getting really worried about the situation with KP. Still plenty of time before the Finals starts, but it doesn't feel great knowing that at best he's going to get thrown into the fire of the NBA finals after all this time without playing a single NBA game.

At this point I start to question whether he's really done for the season or not.

Don’t think KP is coming back.

Maybe he'll play in the finals. Don't think it's a lock though.

For my sanity, I'm just going to assume that he's cooked and we'll have to count on Al Horford and our depth to come through for us in the Finals. Al is a pretty good player. He could have his Dirk moment and get us that ring in the twilight of his career.

5.5 weeks Out. In the middle of the Playoffs.
We shouldn't complain, though. Every Team is banged up, this time of year.

It comes down to a matter of Skill & Will, and Luck, the further into the Season/Playoffs you go.
Also, I've read that 10% of a Team is injured, over the course of a Season.

Stevens just really made this Team Injury Proof, with the 6 Starters.

It would have been 4 weeks. But he gets an extra 1.5 weeks 'til the Finals.
The cards have just been in our favor.

Again, the redundancy of this Team, is really what is helping us out.

I have no insider knowledge whatsoever but I don’t think Korndog is coming back either.

That brace on his wrist I saw yesterday looked bad.

are they playing games so dallas doesn't prepare for kp in the downtime between series? seems weird they'd just rule him out for game 4. maybe if he's actually ready to play and they hold him out that's not allowed by the nba so they're just saying he's not ready to cover their asses. i find it hard to believe he's actually still injured enough to not play if he was absolutely needed
