Compared to his pears (Main guys) when they struggle early on their career:
Kobe - won in 13th season '09 (first 3 don't count as Shaq is the main guy)
Curry - won in 6th season
LeBron - won in 9th season
Jokic - won in 9th season
KD - won in 10th season
Jordan - won in 7th season
Dirk - won in 13th season
KG - won in 13th season
Magic won in his rookie year, but the main guy is still Kareem.
Tim Duncan on the other hand also won in his rookie year, and It's tough to say who is the main guy in that '99 Spurs
EDIT: Tim Duncan did not win in his rookie season. That makes Wade run in '06 pretty special versus the Heatles championships.

That’s a lot of revisionist history. Shaq was playing like an MVP here, he was robbed of an MVP by Nash in one of the tightest races.

KAT has been feces. You dont get big output from your stars and you lose. Its been close despite the series lead. A bit more big boy plays from Towns and it could be 3-0 Minny.

Feces is such a descriptive word. It’s so much worse than chit
But yes, KAT has been turd personified.

Give credit to that dog PJW for locking him up. Mavs traded Williams, Curry, 2027 1st and 2 2nds for him. Sucks always getting beat out in trades.
February 8, 2024: (P.J. Washington) Traded by the Charlotte Hornets with a 2024 2nd round draft pick ( was later selected) and a 2024 2nd round draft pick ( was later selected) to the Dallas Mavericks for Seth Curry, Grant Williams and a 2027 1st round draft pick ( was later selected). Dallas also received a trade exception 2024 2nd-rd pick is BOS own 2028 2nd-rd pick is least favorable Charlotte also received a trade exception 2027 protected 1st-rd pick is DAL own

Shaq was nonetheless over the hill. Peak Shaq was years earlier. He kept himself in half decent shape for a minute here, but then he went back to liking food more than winning. His games fell, his minutes fell, his points and rebounds dropped, his efficiency dropped. He was still dominant, but not nearly the same player game to game. Shaq's issue here wasn't that he wasn't good anymore, it's that he quit giving a damn and let his body and his performance go to hell.

Lots of smoke of Garland to the Pels for Ingram. I do like Ingram filling that SF spot on the Cavs with Strus moving back to the two spot. Murray imo is a better fit on the Hawks but with them possibly going with Risacher they don’t need Ingram. Obviously if Mitchell don’t resign it causes a ripple effect in all these deals.
