Kenny is so damn right regarding that last play. It's funny how much sh*t Gobert has to endure from the media but you put KAJ, Shaq, Jokic, or any other great center and they would be in the blender on it.

The three that would have been an exception (IMO) would have been Wilt, a yound David Robinson, and Hakeem. Threy would have enough quickness to recover on the stepback and probably block it. Hell, Wilt would block KAJ's skyhook.

But it's a tall ask for a center to be able to guard a ball handling SF 30 feet from the hoop.

As a long time Mavs fan I have to say that it's really strange having a legit center on the court for 48 minutes a game.

How long have we been wanting ONE athletic defensive center that actually protects the paint and catches lobs very well. We now have that center and he plays 48 minutes.

IMO one of the biggest problems for both major NBA outlets currently is that analysts often get so stuck in their own narratives, picks and "entertainment" that the actual game and facts become secondary.

This is why I'm rooting for NBC to win the rights. The coverage has to change. Hopefully they'll do that if they get the league back on their network.

the NBA decided to go with Tony Brothers in game 3, after the Mavs took the commanding 2-0 lead.

maybe I should put my money on the Wolves for this one. whenever the NBA wants to extend the series, they send Tony Brothers.

Expect 2 early fouls on 2 Mavs starters. Never fails. Calms the Mavs down and allows for Wolves to go up heavy.
