Celts will pick on Luka defensively. He may score 35 but will prob give up 35.

Nah they were fine without him.

It’s about having the size for 48min when on the other side is just 30-32min KP

Already starting to talk trash? Can we at least see both teams close the series? :o

Mavs went up 107-104 with Rudy on the bench. At that point, the Wolves weren't getting any stops. He sat him the first 8+ minutes of the 4th. Minnesota just couldn't get a lead in this game. They can't play possession basketball with the Mavs.

Clippers and OKC put up a better show against Mavs, in retrospect they were tough competition

Finals doesnt start for 11 days. Both should be fine by then, but if one was gonna be out, it's probably Porzingis. Calf strains can be trouble

Will be close to 6 weeks by out by the time the finals start. I think he’ll be back by then.

Question is how he moves after his return. In the past he looked really bad in the first few weeks coming back from an injury. Not trusting his legs. Trying to avoid contact. Moving in slow motion. But it is only a calf strain. Not the ACL.

Even the Clippers without Leonard won two games against the Mavs.

What's he supposed to do? His usage rate must be one of the lowest in the league, and he's a pure paint defender at the other end. He didn't rebound well tonight but there's a ton of variance there in any given game.

See, I laugh at this post. Not because how ridiculous it sounds, but because of how scarily true it sounds. It'll be followed up with Ant reassuring that he wants to stay in MIN and possibly sign another extension.

I’m really interested to see if Kyrie can stay locked in when they play BOS or will he get caught up in arguing with the fans…

Yes, the Celtics have the tools to slow down Luka. Brown as the primary defender, Tatum can guard him too and of course a splash of Holiday and even White.

On the other end though, Tatum might choke end game too as he does not have the Kyrie/Luka Kobe DNA so it's really going to be an interesting close series considering the talent of these squads and more importantly the verstatility of both of these teams to just switch everything as everyone can play respectable defense (no Conley type of weakness in the Celtics lineup)

It’s all about matchups. Mavs were a bad matchup for the Timberwolves. Timberwolves were the perfect counter to Denver.

Poor kid, still only 22, but he has no help and the media trying to anoint him too early. He's taking his lumps. He'll be okay. Towns isn't it though.

No help?

Ants been garbage this whole series aside from the 3rd quarter here. Ancient Conley has been the best Timberwolf. Rudys played okay. Slomo and Naz have prolly been their 2nd and 3rd best players. Jaden playing well. Only Kat has played worse than Ant for Minnesota

Who proclaimed Edwards the face of the league?

Only reason Edwards if proclaimed that by some is because of his personality. His game does not reflect it at all.

SGA
Luka
Jokic

are all ahead of him.

Wemby will most likely be the face of the league barring injuries.

I don’t think Edwards was even top 10 before this playoffs
