And prove that they really are a different team. 98% of the criticism that come their way is due to their history and not really based on what's happened this season. I'm not absolving myself from this unfair treatment of them.
Other side of the coin of course is... Without the past shortcomings of the Jays (and Horford), who knows if/how quick they would've learned and gotten here.

To be perfectly fair, the criticism stems from grossly underachieving in ECFs last year, and then during this regular season spacing out, losing interest in stretches, blowing leads and blowing games ....all while acting like they had aLready reached the mountain-top.
We have seen them viciously fuLLy engaged for all 48 minutes starting this week ! Time to finish Indy and then Kyrie !!

If they lost interest in stretches then what do you call what most teams have done in the history of the sport? They won a lot and beat the next best by more than most teams in the history of the game! Seems like they sustained interest better than you’re crediting them.
