With Lonzo's rehabing going well would anyone take a shot on him, he would defensively be our shut down guard and would with Lamelo be the best creative back court in the league.
But the question is what would you give up for him and what would the Bulls except. The Bulls may want to wash there hands of him and his 80 Mil contract, then if I know IF he comes back fully fit it might be a good contract.question though is what compensation would you be prepared to give up????

Bruh do I need to introduce you to our medical staff?

If anything I'd expect the Bulls to give us compensation to take on a contract on a guy that could literally never play again.

While we are getting Gordon "sometimes you don't feel like playing" Hayward and Lonzo "bone on bone knee" Ball why don't we make a run at Ben "sore back" Simmons too? Put the icing on the cake by drafting Stephon "I'm a point guard and I cant shoot and wont work out for anyone other than SA" Castle at 6. Call it an offseason!

He's not got bone on bone anymore, you need to do your research before you start making comments

Yeah I'm sure that will hold up just as good as a normal knee that hasn't had meniscus surgery. Absolutely no risks there lol

I assure you I was well aware of his surgery prior to making the previous post.

Chicago fans dont even believe Lonzo, he is just to be hopeful but the reality is he not even cleared for contact, let alone basketball and he hasnt played in like 2 plus years.

One last comment on all this, every player is a risk just look at Lamelo & Williams fully fit players and they have lingering injuries. As for the Bulls fans they're exactly the same as our fans, Lamelo is coming under alot of criticism on this board alone so what's the difference

Every player is a risk of course. But players with known, persistent, long-term chronic injuries are far bigger risks than those that don't have those issues. This should be obvious and not need to be mentioned.

We trade for Lonzo I would lose all hope with this franchise.

You can't have 2 Ball brothers on the same team with their injury history. There is no chance we would take that kind of gamble. Hell Lonzo hasn't played in 2 years he might not even return the same player he once was.

James Harden is a FA.

Do we throw 30mil at him and have him in that SG/PG role in case Melo goes down?

Just throwing it out there.

I suppose Melton could guard opposing PG while playing on or off the ball.

Melo
Melton
Miller
Miles
Mark

Micic
Mann
Martin

Need to replace Grant Williams and Nick Richards with someone who has 'm' as the first letter of his first/last name.

Any suggestions?

Mates Buzelis? There's one.

How about a free agent center?

i was campaigning for Melton earlier, he's a good POA defender who us also used to playing next to a ball dominant guard in Maxey.

he would fit well if the $ works.

Yes, money is a factor. Hopefully teams go big game hunting for Trae, Dejounte, Garland, Mitchell. Maybe Tyus Jones gets a contract before Melton because Tyus started a full season as a primary playmaker.

Melton is a glue guy on offense, POA defender and secondary playmaker. He fits like Castle but he can space with his shot and will make a difference day one.

He could be a consolation target if Castle goes before 6. Melton is a tested vet and still only 25.

He'd help remake the team identity on defense like Grant Williams.

You living in a world where we have unlimited money? LOL
First we are throwing a Max at Paul George?
We probably can't afford either player even if we let Miles walk for free.

Let alone sign multiple guys.
