Man, another close loss here. 3 out of 4 games, we lost at the very end. That **** sucks

Sadly, it doesn't matter. All that people are going to remember is the fact that it was a sweep. Doesn't matter how competitive those games were, people are only going to remember the final score.

Oh well. As I said at the start of the series, we had already exceeded expectations this year. Whatever happened in this series was just gravy. Let's hope that Haliburton's hamstring issues get resolved over the summer and come back next season healthy. That should be our primary focus.

Great series by the Celtics. Had it been any other team, we do not lose all 3 of those close games. Their execution down the stretch, especially on the defensive end, was unreal. Jrue and Derrick White are an incredible defensive duo.

The Celtics were the best team in the East by a considerable margin this year and they deserve to be in the Finals. I wish them the best of luck.

Itll say sweep but Indiana made the C’s work hard for it. Can’t ask anymore for a team missing its star.

I've said it already but damn Indy really blew an opportunity with those collapses, & chance to go up 3-1 ... Boston without Porzingis is just an Ordinary "very good" team, nothing special. Everything is gelling for Indy's role guys right now, gonna haunt them a long time since no guarantee they get back here.

They don't have a closer and Siakam just isn't that guy and without Hali they had no chance in any of these games.

You also kind of see why they wanted to move on from Turner, the guy can disappear for big stretches and falls in love with the three way too much.

Knicks/Bucks/Sixers/Heat will beat Pacers next season

We had a winning record against each one of those teams. So we'll see.

The Pacers are better than casuals realize, much like this talk of Boston being inferior in the finals is nonsense. I expect a competitive series. People just want to hate on the East. Luka is great but Dallas is hardly a juggernaut. Predicting a Boston win.

This is what they gotta fix.

I mean we are a top 3 defense for a reason. That defense was gonna catch up and decide the series when both teams offenses are as potent as they are. They were not gonna shoot 80% from the field all game and they just regressed at the worst time for them when our defense clamped. Both are top 3 offenses and got what they wanted most the series. Our elite D Vs their bad D in stretches and runs decided the series.

I mean, y'all can talk about "collapse" and stuff but the bottom line is the Celtics out-executed the opponent in the clutch in 3 games out of 4 and that's why this was a sweep. 15-4 runs to secure victory in a close game twice in a row to finish off a sweep doesn't just happen by accident, and Indiana has a damn good offense. Let's give the guys in green a little credit, eh?
