Yep. At the end of the day, #2 through #8 in the East finished the season being within 4 games of each other and the Pacers were smack-dab in this group throughout the season. Not a lot of separation there.

Pacers only needed to take care of business against the lowly Blazers and Bulls to be the #2 seed. :lol:

The nature of the Pacers losses in the playoffs were no shock to those of us who watched the regular season. The team has lacked poise. There was improvement over the course of the playoffs but it ultimately bit them against the Celtics, who were a straight up superior team.

As Pacers fans we’re looking for growth, especially in these clutch situations. By the way, our two recent top ten picks didn’t really play this series. One was injured and the other is a raw rookie. The future feels plenty bright here in Pacer land we have plenty to work with for the future.

They were losing in 4 regardless. Also he was the same guy that was responsible for that choke job of a turnover in game 1.

Yes your defense was good. Yes Pacers just gave the games away too. They had looks but couldn't get a bucket.

Mostly sore at Hali TBH. Don’t get it twisted though, other Pacers talked **** and vice versa with the Knicks. It’s the front running nature and that calculated trolling with the Reggie sweatshirt that rubbed Knick fans the wrong way. It’s also the reason why there are smiles on Knicks fan’s faces tonight. Karma is incredible.

Carlisle coached this game like a regular season game. Pascal with 39 minutes is absolutely hilarious. He and Nembhard should've gone near 48 tonight.

My dislike for Hali is well documented. Hamstring injuries are no joke though. OG had way more rest than Hali, and looked like a Corpse when he tried to give it a go. Hali wasn’t doing **** tonight with a crappy hamstring.

The pacers are so much better than people want to give them credit for. I don't think I've ever seen an NBA team play that hard consistently.

Good series. Much respect. Hopefully that was enough of a tune up for the finals

Anyway, 3 games went down to the wire. 2 of the best offenses in the league going toe to toe. Not sure how you couldn’t find it enjoyable

It’s whataboutism. Pacers got some breaks to get here, sure. But patting yourself on the back for a 4-0 prediction here comes off more like someone who watches box scores and not games. It was WAY closer than the result implies. Any objective observer would agree.

He predicted a sweep and he was correct. Give him credit. Losing by one or losing by 10 is still losing.
