Jrue just effortlessly backing him down and putting an and-1 on him was pretty funny

Yea I think its evident that Knicks need a #1 option or a #2 option that is close to be a #1.

The injury problem is partly related to the Knicks needing so much from their starters. Too much load put on to Brunson's Hart's shoulder.

Randle not being able to stay healthy is an issue. But even if he was healthy I do not think he'd be the answer.
Like, at least Clippers fans were thinking if they had a healthy Kawhi, they'd go far. Randle has more chance to stay healthy next year but I am not sure if he can produce enough offense efficiently.

Jaylen Brown not getting Flagrant 1 or Flagrant 2 was so obnoxious. He does these moves against many teams. I remember Jaylen Brown 'accidentally' hitting Luka in Mavs games as well. His 'accidental' hitting-to-face contact always looks like a well-balanced move. I never see Brown actually losing his balance and accidentally hitting.

Celtics and their national media presence is powerful on refs.

I hope the sweep taints any enjoyment the front running pacers got from beating us.

Now I need the Mavs to lose….

It’s not a coincidence that

Boston -5o
Indiana -5o
Minn -can play 5o
Dallas -no
OKC -5o
Denver -5o
Knicks -no
Cleveland -no

Being able to play a true 5 out offense is a real advantage.

Dallas gets a pass bc they have 2 of the best iso/pnr ball handlers in the game

Even one can argue Cleveland “can” play 5o with Mobley

Point being, there’s room for us to grow. Will thibs see this and be willing to let ihart shoot threes ?

Pacers gone, now we need Celtics to get swept in the Finals to complete the circle.
Are you fans of the team or the player?

For sure, a lucky bounce here and there and somehow you're in the finals.

We have a 3 year window with this core and next year starts Year 1.

I can't believe our season ended because of Numbskull

Think about it if he hadn't hit that shot in G3 (shot that after he made his face said it all "I can't believe it went in, I just threw it up lol"), we'd most likely have won to go up 3-0 and most likely won the series 4-0 or at least 4-1... avoiding G6 (Hart's abdomen injury) and G7 (forcing OG to play prematurely likely aggravating his hamstring, and of course JB's hand)... we'd have been in pretty good shape against C's.. then OG probably comes back in G3 of ECF or G5... I really think we could beat them even without Ju, Mitch and Bojan to go to Finals damn damn damn damn

If you have read The Winner Effect book, it says winning is a momentum as you win get early result, you are likely to win and win more... (losing is also a momentum going the opposite way)... credit to Numbskull he took that big shot and run it's been his confidence builder since

That 3 pointer he hit made me nauseous. But let’s face it, we would’ve gotten shutout by the Celtics. I’m glad that I didn’t have to watch that.

Are you thinking with or without OG.

Pacers couldn't close games. We can close games. I think we could've given Boston hell with OG. And Brunson obviously.

Without OG
Without Brunson
Without Hart

With those 3 guys, I think we take them to 7 games.

[quote="aggo"]We’re further away than ppl think.

Exact opposite. Indy was a hair away from winning 3 of the 4 games, the last two without their fraud-or-not leader. We could/should have beaten them handily except we had 2/3rds of our rotation frontcourt unable to play including a 2x all star.

This could have been our year save for injuries. We are closer than people think.

Theyre celebrating on your floor Hali!

But they did do something. They went to the EC Finals.

I dont hate the Celtics...and I'm not celebrating the Celtics...I'm celebrating grown men-receiving what they asked for- dont care if he's 24-
Hali crossed the line with the reggie hoodie and for that I enjoyed them getting swept in this series...

“Crossed the line”? What line is that?

You weren’t even watching the Knicks until sometime in December. It was probably by accident while you were at your cousin’s for the holidays.

I seriously believe that the Pacers were solely created for the purpose of preventing the Knicks from ever winning a championship again.
