Dallas feels like the team of destiny to me. They're winning in much more impressive fashion vs better opponents.

A team that can play fast can be great and win a ton of games.

A team that has no idea how to play any other way but fast is flawed.

Indiana and their star player are the latter.

Once more, for the people in the back: F*ck the Pacers.

Very 90s yankees. You just got that guy feeling they're going to pull it out if it's close

Boston's bench sucks ass, especially with KP being out taking Horford off it

Actually I don't even think we need any trade to be honest. All these team are so unimpressive. Give me a healthy knick team and I don't think any other team makes it even to 7 games with us. The Celtics are paper thin under the basket. Anyone really think they could keep up with a Mitch, IHart, Randle, Precious, OG, Hart frontcourt?

Just get these guys healthy to the playoffs next season and forget aobut seeding and all that bull. Health above everything else and this team is gonna win a title.

The Pacers surely wouldn't have won a single game against a healthy knick squad.

I don’t think a team that didn’t make it to the ECF (regardless of why) has the luxury of saying “run it back” is good enough.

Yes, we have to get as strong as we can given our constraints. Assume that the other top 10 teams of this year will mostly try to get better as well.

There needs to be depth additions, but the idea of a major trade barring Giannis demanding out of Milwaukee seems far fetched at this point.

We have a deeper rivalry with the Pacers than the Celtics, imho. They are more "on our level".

It felt like they were in our spot in the conference finals going against the Celtics. Do I think we would have beaten the Celtics? No. But we sure as well would have won at least one game with Jalen Brunson.

And the Pacers parodying the way they did like they weren't handed Game 3 and beat a team that was missing multiple key players... Yeah, I'm glad they got exposed and swept.

As far as the Celtics? They are just too good. I still hate them, but respect them. Plain and simple.

There is nothing that the Celts have done in these 2024 Playoffs to suggest that they are "too good."

Best record in the NBA by a wide margin and only lost 2 PO games. They steamrolled to the finals like it was their day job.

Their path had to be the less resisted path a 1st Seed has had in a long time. A Miami team missing their star (Rozier, too), a Cleveland team that never had a chance, and a Pacers team that probably never see a ECF again. Good for them for taking care of business, but Dallas and T-Wolves are far more capable.

They could use some more depth so Brunson and Randle can play 70 games and get rest.

OG will only play 50, so his rest is baked in.

Running it back means the core players. You can't say regardless of why as if it has some merit when the why was half the rotation being out and others were playing injured.

Build the depth and this is rock solid team when fully healthy. Give the lunatic HC a little more to work with this year and we may not limp into and through the playoffs again.

People said the same thing about Denver when they won their finals.

At some point, you just have to appreciate.

I'm not doubting their path has a lot in their favor. But that's the whole point of trying to get the #1 seed. You want to get the easiest path to a championship.

I guess time will tell. It looks like it will be the Celtics vs Mavs. So we shall see if the Celtics can continue to take care of business.

Mavs are way better than any East team Boston has faced so far and Boston hasn't looked that great in many of these games if we're being honest. I'm sure they have another gear... otherwise, it could get ugly for them.

Did they? I don't recall that, but that could be revisionist on my end. Their only real competition was Phoenix, I guess. Not counting Miami, they played teams with a combine W/L record of 130-116. Boston played against teams with a combined record of 141-106, but can anyone really say last year's T-Wolves, Suns, and Lakers are equivalent to this year's Heats, Cavs, and Pacers?
