The Timberwolves have a chance to cement themselves in the annals of NBA history by being the first team to ever reverse sweep their opponent in the conference finals. Look at the amazing opportunity, you want to talk about legend building, there is no greater legend than that in this scenario. I hope to be here later tonight howling at the moon with the rest of you as we take our first step towards doing the previously impossible!

Confidence level is subzero, but at this point, you just have to take it one game at a time and hope for the best!

If we're looking for optimism, we've lost all 3 games by single digits with one or both of our stars having terrible shooting nights. If either of them had average games the first 2 games we likely win, if KAT has an average game last time we might win that too.

Realistically we've been beaten by the better team but this isn't a dismantling or clearly being outclassed like Boston-Indiana, nor is it as weirdly depressing as the Denver series was at times with every game being a blow out one way or another.

I agree its not likely but we do have a chance.

I actually think it’s almost identical to Indiana/Boston, where three out of four losses have been by five points or less (3, 3, 5). Much like our series Indiana probably should have won 2 or 3 of those games but couldn’t execute down the stretch. That’s what separates teams at this level, the ability to execute in the final 2-3 minutes when you’re playing a very good opponent that knows all your tendencies, strengths, and weaknesses.

Indiana is not at Boston’s level in those final few minutes, and we’ve shown nothing to indicate we are at the Mav’s level.

But one game at a time. Win tonight and we go home. Win at home then Dallas feels pressure for the first time in a long time. But got to win tonight.

I was at a cabin the woods for a bachelor party for the first 3 games of this series. I haven't seen a single minute or watched a single highlight.

I will be watching the next 4 games of this series though

Yep execution as always, is key. Last year Denver was on another level to every other team in that regard. This year we made a huge jump in our ability to execute. Still, the Mavericks are just better at it, especially on offense and we have never been great there. When we execute well, we can get big leads. If we could maintain a 10-15 point lead in the later stretches of the 4th it wouldn't matter how clutch the Mavericks are, we would win those games. We just haven't been on the level to do that and Dallas has.

All we need is one, to feel that confidence. It might not happen this year, but that first round series last year gave our guys the confidence that the could beat Denver. This year, they went out and did it. And in the regular season, it didn't feel like we could beat Phoenix....until we did, then everything changed.

If they win, is there any chance they invite Towns or Gobert to the TNT set? I put it at zero chance, which I'm fine with. But mostly, I hope it's Ant so he can smack some sense into them up there.

I'm back to feeling semi-optimistic after a 36-hour depressed state. If we get one, I feel decently confident in our ability to get a second. And from there, who knows...

If I had to guess, I think the ticket market for a potential Game 5 will be back to where it was last series in Game 6. For whatever reason, that's the kind of crowd our team feeds off of. When the tickets skyrocket, the guys start to feel the pressure and play worse.

I also have good vibes for today. I hope it’s not the last night of little sleep this year, but if it is, very proud of the team.

Yeah, I was more despondent going into Game Three, honestly. At this point, there is only the absurd potentiality of making history. Nothing to lose on a great season, even if the series has been a disappointment.

One point of optimism for me is how close they've kept the games despite a myriad of issues, only to lose because they didn't execute down the stretch.

Very curious to see how they come out to start and how they respond the first time Dallas jumps out to a lead/goes on a run to close the gap.

Been running the idea between my ears, do we just make Kat the 6th man, take an unconventional approach.

I'm torn, but i'd try it. Guy needs some sort of a change. If it hurts his feelings, so be it.
