I don't understand how this is no longer a flagrant? Wasn't the whole point of a flagrant 1 that it's excessive contact but not intentional? I feel like both this and the hit yesterday were both flagrant all season

if yesterday's call was not flagrant then there will be no flagrant, you need to kill someone to get that

The way the flagrant has been called the last few games, it's only happening with a wind-up. I think ultimately, if the intent isn't there and there isn't a wind-up that's the right call.

Being honest, I am concerned about how badly it would crater Minnesota's defense. Naz Reid has defensive moments, but he is extraordinarily inconsistent on that end. Karl-Anthony Towns is a substantially better player, which was showcased during the first two series (despite this series).

In the end, I think Karl-Anthony Towns may get traded because of his contract, but losing him would be brutal on the court.
