That was pretty ugly but it's a win.

Couldn't grab a defensive rebound, kept giving them 2 or 3 shots a possession.
Everyone In foul trouble the whole game.
Ant without a FT attempt after the first quarter.
KAT getting hot long enough to give us a small lead before fouling out was just enough.

Kyrie/Luka/PJ Washington 16/55 shooting (29%) helped a lot.

It's still a long shot to win 3 straight against someone as cold blooded as prime Luka Doncic.
I guess we can hope the short rests between games will tire them out the way it did Denver and even things out.

Kyle Anderson has been our most consistent player this series.
Pleasantly surprised as bad as he was against Denver.
We need his IQ more in this series to keep guys in line with the more complicated defensive schemes we need to throw at Luka that we didnt in the previous 2 series.
I thought it hurt us a bit when we subbed him out for Mike because Mike has been having a hard time defending and rebounding against DJJ or PJ, As horrific as the spacing gets with Kyle and Rudy on the court together.

I'll take it. Finally, got one and avoided the sweep. It helped that Dallas didn't shoot all that well and Lively was out.

They probably didn’t want them in foul trouble, cause those two get every bs call their way.

Doncic outweighs Jaden by about 50 pounds. Kyle Anderson has been a better matchup for Doncic in this series. Need to defend Doncic with size and strength. Need to defend Irving with speed and length. Painfully obvious.

I think you have to play Kyle on Luka more next game. Matches up the best size wise. Dallas should start to feel a little pressure now.

We go back home, our guys start plowing fields, and show up all sleepy. Need a meeting amoungst their harems of women to cut them off.

Kenny said if all four stars play well he thinks the wolves are a 10 point favorite. Which means they should be the better team but tricked away good opportunities.

Kyle has the size to defend Luka, but more importantly the smarts to keep him off his spots and to anticipate where the screen is going to come from, which allows him to dictate where Luka is going to go.

Keeping Kyrie and especially Luka out of the middle of the floor is absolutely crucial to slowing down the Mavs offense.
Not only do you cut the floor in half and cut down their vision and make the skip pass or lob pass longer, they are both absolutely deadly straight on shooters, but as human as anyone else from the slot/sides if you contest well.

One thing that was huge was the end of the first half. Ant, KAT, and Gobert were all out with foul trouble and we were down two. The fact that we held on for that 3 minutes and were able to get to the half tied was so big.

There have been an abundance of amazing quotes surely guided by some sort of influence on this thread. But this might be the most profound, confusing thing I have ever read high.

I had to find my Starbury/KG t shirt to wear UNDER my Googs jersey. With that combination, the first Big Three in Twolf history and frankly my favorite era of the franchise...we had to win. And we did. Now I know what to wear going forwards.

The Wolves have played that way the entire series. Night and day difference from the first two rounds. Infuriating, to say the least.

Just watch replay early morning here as i'm in France for some vacations and family time first. I think we play pretty well, TO apart. IT's nice to see all starters shooting well, specially KAT. Game 5 will be the toughest one. I think Dallas will feel pressure if we can get this one. Go Wolves!

Heavy favorites for the next one. If you make it 3-2, then we're right where we were with Denver, but with momentum on our side.
All these games were so close: some 50-50 balls or that stupid rule that can't change an out-of-bounds into a foul or KAT going 0-8, Luka making the buzzer beater, Gafford circus shot - the series could have been a sweep by US at this point. Either way, Towns needs to go or take an even lesser role. When the guy who dethroned you as best player on the team constantly complains of you fouling out, it's not good at all. Ant flirting with triple doubles lately, he's really locked in and I'm expecting a monster game at home.

Also, isn't Micah Nori actually coaching, and not Finchy?

Nori has taken over certain duties that Finch has trouble with, but Finch is still around and still the head coach.
