Yea, PG! if you want to win, don't stick with the guy who's never available. Come play with the extremely healthy and reliable Joel Embiid.

Cade's cap hit is 13.9M. That could leave them still a max slot if they were to trade 16.

Even though there's reason to be skeptical of Cade, if they can make that deal while retaining at least one of their future 1sts, just do it.

I feel like this scenario has OKC written all over it, though.

Biggest selling point for PG should be that he can leave the West & come to the East with a team that could make the Finals in this joke of a conference.

Would he rather play Tyrese Haliburton & Pascal Siakim in the ECF or Luka & Kyrie in round 1 of the West playoffs?

IDK how we got to Cade but I'm down. Great offensive fit, he has a boatload of untapped potential, and he might be on the outs w/ new upper management in Detroit. On the other hand, he ain't exactly clamping anyone defensively and he somehow makes our athleticism worse. Overall, In a sea of imperfect solutions, I like this one. We'd need to fill out the roster with a whole lot of athletes.

I've seen this movie before. Fans get themselves all lathered up fantasizing about acquiring a bunch of players who aren't and were never available and then when you see the guy the Sixers actually get everyone ends up disappointed because you shifted your mindset. Don't do this to yourselves, it will not end well. The Pistons are not trading their former #1 overall pick.

And don't stick with a guy who is a killer big game closer when healthy, go instead and team up with another career playoff underachiever.

I can see the idea of bringing Cade here, but giving up four #1's? I can't help but think we can do better for that price.

Two damning indictments of Joel right there.

They are definitely justified.

Just makes you wonder.

The only thing it makes me wonder about is the insanity of handing George $200 million so he can come to his backup option.

You guys are living with n delulu land this team has about a 4 year window to win a title with Embiid. Five first round picks spread over a long time and 60 million is hardly a treasure trove some of you think it is. Morey needs to thread the needle. Based in n how he had been here I'll believe it when I see it and not a moment before! Cade Cunningham blows I can't believe his name is being brought up it's so dumb I had to address it individually lol.

Well, those of us in "delulu land" await your infinite wisdom since you have all the answers.

So Cade Cunningham is a bad idea, but Paul George isn't?

Strictly addressing Cunningham. I would love to see him here, but where is the idea that he's available coming from? I don't see Detroit moving him. I see them moving Jaden Ivey long before they trade Cade.

Personally, I see Mikel Bridges or Brandon Ingram as more realistic options if we're going the trade route. Trading for Jimmy Butler has also been mentioned. I really want us to stop chasing old guys. Butler is the only one I could support. Paul George is an easy no for me.

Seems Nic Batum's predicted market value is all over the place.

What do y'all think? Room exception? Vet min? Somewhere in between?

6.3 ppg in the playoffs for Batum. Anything over vet minimum is an overpay.

Sign Batum to a vet min for depth but hopefully you build a good enough roster where he doesn’t play much.

IMO, Batum is going to stick to his plan and retire unless he is wowed by a deal. Vet min won't cut it. Therefore unless the Sixers strike out on everything and just stay over the cap and therefore DGAF about blowing some cash on a one year deal, I don't see Batum back.
