Go to current affairs on the general board.
I will only cherish the wins and ignore everything else, because that's the only way to survive as a Knicks fan.

Never doubted the convictions after he denied having relations with Daniels.

The real cliffhanger is what Judge Merchan does at sentencing on July 10th which is 4 days before the RNC

He should give a major middle finger to the nut jobs and give the maximum sentence.

Yes, he just can't vote

Because felons can't vote in NY or Florida.

I'm just gonna put this out there before this gets locked

If at this point, you vote for the most obvious grifter in US history, who is now a convicted felon, you are either hopelessly naïve or willfully malevolent. Especially if you are voting for him for the 3rd time

Either way, there is nothing that can be said to reason you out of it, so it's a waste of time to even try.

He does. His family purged the RNC and runs it now. Though a rift could form at the convention over whom to nominate since he is a felon now and it is only going to get worse for him.

MAGAs will double down. Swing voters will waver. A few crazies will vote for RFK. But in the end Biden will be re-elected. The real issue now is what happens with congressional control, because I know Trump will not be POTUS again and will die in prison if he doesn't keel over first.

This trial was immaculately run. Very professional judge. Bragg's prosecution was brilliant. Trump's defense was predictably incompetent and doomed. Very satisfying to see the jury take their responsibilities seriously and show that no one is above the law.

To me, the first time voter is more remarkable.

In before the lock. I want to make a mature, measured comment about this historical moment where a President of the United States was convicted of 34 felony crimes.

What are the big knocks on RFK? I'm not really familiar with American politics much.

Yeah, definitely. Anyone who didn't vote for him the first two times but does now is the weirdest one

But like, at this point, you know who he is. If you can listen to him speak for 30 seconds, or just read a transcript and think "yep, that's the guy I want representing America", there's not much can be said to you

It's the old adage of you can't reason someone out of a belief they didn't reason themselves into. This isn't even an endorsement of anyone else, just a, nobody who votes for this guy at this point can be considered a rational person and I'm sorry if some people get offended when I say that, and I say that knowing full well the dude is gonna get at least 70 if not 80 million votes in a few months.

That's a good one. Sort of a shorthand for the donkey and the tiger parable.

Trump will pay a few fees and nobody will care in a few months. Per usual. Biden's economy is killing a majority of the country and that's why his poll numbers are abysmal in almost every state. The only people who care about this are hyper-partisan democrats and left wing celebrities.

Now lock the thread lmao.
