kinda like that move for them - Butler fits well with a bunch of shooting and prob isn't prohibitively expensive compared to some other guys with likely lower ceilings.

I think in 2-3 years, Queta will be much more useful to us than Kornet will be. However, now and probable most of next season Kornet will be more of use. This is why I think we need both back and Tillman also.

Yeah I like keeping all three. Develop Queta and to a lesser extent Tillman (if he can become a baseline 3 pt threat it changes his dynamic totally), while Kornet is the Steady Edy whenever minutes need to be eaten.
White/PP/
Jrue/Springer/
Brown/Hauser/Walsh
Tatum/Tillman/Brissett
KP/AL/Korney/Q
Leaves one open roster spot. Brissett I though would be a goner but he had a little resurgence and seems to want to be here. It's a lot of big men but that's really where they need a lot of depth really.

now the question is Davison ready to come in as the 3rd/4th point. Personally, I am not so sure.

I disagree. He's a much better rebounder but not great at much of anything else other than perhaps drawing fouls but that's negated by the fact that he doesn't consistently make them. Not saying Luke is all that great but in his role he's just fine for his contract, he blocks shots at same rate and while he doesn't score at the same rate he scores at a much higher efficiency on a much lower usage. Luke is a better passer as well. Drummond's always been kind of an empty stats guy, never really translated to winning and at least now his contract is cheap and he is a bench guy but I'd take Luke at a lower number as a better team basketball player.

I'm not the biggest Kornet fan, I hope he gets what he's looking for in FA and moves on, that said in the modern NBA you take him over Drummond 10 out of 10 times.
The only two guys they should be mapping out extensions for on this squad is Tatum and White. Its honestly impressive that they will spend like this when Monty Burns owns the concessions and the arena. Hope they either buy it at some point or they just get their own stadium somewhere.

Yup, the Tatum and white extensions are definitely the biggest priorities this offseason. Keep our top 6 guys (plus Pritchard) locked up long term.
Nothing wrong with having a different opinion - as long as it's done respectfully. It'd be lame if we all agreed on everything

A lot of LaVine supporters in this forum or at least they were.
Sounds like if you have a bag of a dozen basketballs he is yours.

Solid Svi upgrade..
He might want to sign somewhere else where he'd get more guaranteed playing time though..

...and he's at least worth the MLE.
Brad really will have his work cut out for him identifying super undervalued players at the back end of rosters that might fit with ours.
