Ed Pinkney wrote:I certainly didn't see this series playing out the way it has. Minnesota looked like the best team in the league for big parts of Round 1 and 2.

When everyone in the media was crowning them and saying Celtics played no one I did try to mention that Wolves weakness is offense and in the Suns and Nuggets they played two middling to bad defences which helped them. They were well setup for defending those players too. Celtics played two top 6 defences in the first two rounds, which did mean something (even if not a lot).

Well, they shaved a few points off. Keep it pushing. I'm not sure if they can pull this off, but I'm here for it.

This will be fun. Out of that top 5 group out West, to me the best matchup for us is Dallas. We got the guys to throw at Luka and Kyrie defensively AND to go at them offensively, which I feel is what Minny lacks. Besidds Edwards nobody on that perimeter can do much outside of spot up shooting.

Mavs have to give Kyle Anderson some credit in the trophy presentation tonight or I’ll be disappointed. Kyle has played one heck of a game for the Mavs tonight

I can see Jaden Hardy turning into Curry against us so hope we can play him off the court early

We're going to have to get used to this.

This will just be the first of multiple finals appearance for the Cs in the next 5 years.

All that's left to do is lock up Derrick White.

If the Wolves cut 5 points off the Mavs' lead every quarter, they can win this game by the end of the 8th.

For your mental health, I recommend avoiding the general board until game 1 starts. You just know everyone on there is gonna be cheering for a dallas win and coming up with all kinds of crazy pro-Dallas takes.

Maybe someone can get the players to start browsing the GB for extra motivation then!

Dallas has looked really good in these playoffs so I can’t really blame people for being high on them. They will have the best player on the floor against us as well. I know we have only lost 2 games so far in the playoffs but our first two rounds were against garbage squads and we really didn’t play well in those series. I think we played better against Indiana but for an Eastern conference Final participant they are pretty weak, let’s face it. We have to play our A game against Dallas to win. I think we will but it won’t be easy.

What are the chances of the Mavericks sweeping the Celtics?

I don’t know what happened in this series but I feel pretty confident the Celtics starters aren’t going to put up -20s like that.
