By the way, why are you a fan of teams from all over the country? When you talked about how things aren't as bad in Dallas as in DC, NY, Philly in that other thread, I thought you were a Mavs fan. Because without that Mavs in 2011, Dallas hasn't won any major sports championship since the 1990s.

He lives in Maine. So, he has no attachment to a big city. He grew up a Cowboy fan because they we're always on television & because they won a lot in those days.

He likes the Celtics for the same reasons.

DFW is a big area. I’m really not sure why people don’t include Fort Worth though when they mention Dallas. When people say Dallas though they usually mean one of the suburban cities. Either way the DFW area has won more titles than the city of Philadelphia over the last 30 years. The Cowboys may not have won in 30 years but over that span they still have more SB wins than the Eagles. Come on Eagles! The Cowboys have spotted you 30 years and you still can’t catch up?

Yes, some did. L.A. is like 2 hours from San Diego. They're completely different cities. Plus, there's a stigma about supporting an LA team for some.
