Greece is well known as a place where people eat the best food in the world, far better than in the US.

His family was so malnourished that they had many children, all tall and strong without training in the NBA. Worst argument ever

Another classic realgm comment
Giannis and Dwight were not "generationally strong" at age 19

Everybody said 2020 was a weak draft and Edwards was a horrible #1 pick and wouldn't even be a lottery pick if he was in the 2019 draft, behind Barrett, Culver, and Hunter
Now the same idiots are saying the same thing, that 2024 is a weak draft, and Sarr and Risacher wouldn't be lottery picks in the 2025 draft.
2020 was generally seen as a big 3 (Antman, Wiseman, LaMelo) and then a lot of variance...but yea, there is a lot of revisionism around Antman, a lot of people had issues with his mentality and inefficiency coming out

Money is not everything, you can eat well in a poor country, and eat very bad in a rich country like the US where junkfood is everywhere

Yup. Iirc, I was one of them.
I just hated his mentality and bbiq. He seemed entirely disinterested in basketball, almost like he hated that he was good at it, because he didn’t like the game much and loved football.
Figured he was too good naturally to be useless, but thought he would basically be JR Smith. Again, just going memory.
But many felt much stronger than that take and thought he’d be a complete and total bust, like Dion Waiters at best, hell I might have been one of them.

You can be poor in Greece, spoilers.

By HadAnEffectHere's logic, who you are at age 19 is who you will always be
I can't even think of one NBA player who was not able to put on weight after turning pro. Even Chet and Wemby are starting to get bigger and stronger.

Risacher just has no upside at all is the issue and Sarr has very little upside.
How a 19-year-old player can have no upside at all ? Both are amongst the youngest players in this draft ! You are talking about players who are still growing in their bodies. It's obvious they will improve physically and technically, like every basketball player at that age.
Everything you say is nonsense on every topic that's crazy
I am curious, according to you which players has more upside than Risacher and Sarr in this draft ?
Reed Sheppard, Jared McCain, Nikola Topic, Yves Missi, and Cody Williams are the only guys with semi-realistic star potential (though none are likely to get there).
The draft just has very few players with high end skill or tools.

So what do you see in Cody Williams and Jared McCain specifically that make you think they’re part of this short list?

Cody Williams is just so comically underweight that I feel like there's some chance for a Gobert-like physical transformation after entering the NBA. Gobert was really unathletic and 25 pounds underweight in France and experienced huge athletic gains after putting on the weight needed. Cody Williams is roughly 40-50 pounds underweight (he weighs 47 pounds less than his brother with a similar height and wingspan) which is...... very alarming, but does give him some athletic upside.
Jared McCain is just so smart, great at shooting, and high character that I'm hoping he has a lot more on-ball juice than he showed at Duke and he just was forced to defer to the vets at Duke.
I don't think either of these outcomes are likely at all, but they seem possible.
