Do you have any thoughts on Pacome Dadiet or Armel Traoré since France is taking over the NBA now?
Dadiet is intriguing. Traoré I didn't know about til Hal posted the Cs worklist list earlier and he was on it.

Armel Traoré isn't a serious draft prospect in my opinion. Just not skilled enough for the NBA. There's only one scenario where I would contemplate picking him. If you are confident that the American prospect you want at 54 is still going to be there as an UDFA (which is overwhelmingly likely with just 4 more picks in the draft) and that you can convince that prospect in free agency (not as easy but Boston has had a lot of development success stories recently so that helps their case) then sure why not as a stash guy at 54. At that point in the draft you are better off getting as many rolls of the dice as you can and stashing a guy opens up a roster spot for another long shot prospect.

Seems like there is not much interest in him here. Maybe he's getting lost in the shuffle since Kentucky was pretty loaded?
He looks like more of a high risk/high reward type, and my preference has been for the Celtics to get a solid, if unspectacular, bench contributor. Edwards seems more like a guy to develop for a year or two.
Maybe he's too risky for Brad to use a 1st rounder on, but the potential is there, and apparently he had a nice combine.

NBA teams love to stock the back end of their roster with brothers of their stars (Antetokounmpo, Mobley,...) and I rate his little brother (who is draft eligible in 2025) higher than Sarr and Risacher so I guess if Nolan turns into a star having the draft rights of Armel might have some value.
I haven't tracked Dadiet very closely since he left France fairly early in his development. I can't really say much about him. I don't love his career choice of going to Ulm (despite their alleged emphasis on player development I don't feel like they did a great job of preparing Killian Hayes for the NBA for instance) and it's usually a big red flag for me when players make questionable career moves early on. It tends to reflect either poor judgement or a bad entourage or both, neither of which is easily fixable. Fun fact, a couple years ago, he was a teammate of Begarin at Paris, where he was the third unit guy that would be thrown on the floor at the end of blow outs as a 16 years old.

It's pretty much destiny lol. Grant Williams' Ghost.

Trade down from 30th multiple times, acquire 2nd round picks, then pick Harrison Ingram with the something like 44th pick.
