Your responses are making absolutely no sense mate

You just can't comprehend that Mavs can play great offense lead by Luka and great D lead by Lively. You will understand soon enough.

Your defense led by a rookie is going to be sliced up like swiss cheese by a veteran team loaded with offensive weapons and an even better defense.

You got Bird back?

He literally just gave you the statistics on where they ranked defensively. Unless you’re saying that on March 8 they had the best defensive rating that day then you are wrong.

They had the best defensive rtg since March 8th, last 20 games.

He’s including the playoffs. That 20 game sample size is from March 8 till the end of the regular season lol

It’s like whatever say to you goes through one ear & straight out the other but I’ll say it one last time & hopefully it goes through.

I’m nit talking about the Mavs or Pacers defence. I’m talking about their offences specifically & trying to point out to you that the Pacers offence is a lot harder to defend for the Celtics than the Mavs offence.

Read it 3 times so it finally gets through to you for christ sake ..

So you believe games are decided only by ofense? Interesting. Don't you think Pacers would have won few games with better D?

You’re having a completely different argument with me & you’re still yet to figure it out

Sure it is, you can't include playoffs with different series and different number of games played.

My argument is easy, Pacers are bad defensive team so their offensive game doesn't mean much. Your argument is, Pacers are giving you more problems in offensive side, which might be true or not, but has no baring to how this series will be played, because D is the part of equation too.

I'm sure you will make huge money betting on Celtics. You should bet the house on it.

I also look at it this way;

Boston fans for years have watched clips of Larry legend talking smack to other players, coaches, e.t.c. and how highly regarded he is amongst fellow players, coaches and fans, for talking, and backing it up.

Now they have to watch their team take on this generations King of smack, who also backs it up.

Boston fans better hope they win this series, or the Legend of Luka will grow to insane heights, and guess who the team in the background will be during all those documentaries about his insane **** talking will be?

The Boston Celtics.

Funny how things seem to always come full circle.

So then not since March. Rather, since some very specific date that fits a certain narrative. Let's do it some more:

7th since March 1
2nd since March 12
5th since March 30

That was fun.

It's a specific day. The day Kidd changed starting lineup and put Gafford in the starting lineup. Game against Miami.

Except if you start from multiple other, later dates - when presumably those starting lineups were just as Kidd wanted them - the Dallas defense did not have the best defensive rating.

And besides, the poster I initially quoted said since March. So he was wrong.

Got the hottest team in the playoffs with the best player vs the hottest team during the regular season with the best starting 5.

The media momentum has shifted INSANELY towards the Mavs to the point where many believe the Celtics are now the under dogs.

To me this points to a potentially EPIC series.
Celtics in 7 in Boston!
One day Marcus Smart will be defensive player of the year, mark my words.

To be honest, I refuse to believe that the consensus unbiased opinion here is Dallas over Boston, IN 6 games, especially with the odds being what they are.

I don't buy it. People are voting against and rooting against Boston

I've seen enough to say Dallas in 6. Luka and Kyrie have that dog in them whereas Tatum and Brown both have a tendency to vanish. Boston hasn't been tested, Dallas has.

15 1/2 games ago, in the 5th minute of the 2nd quarter, to the 4 minute and 28 second mark of the same quarter, the Celtics held their opponent scoreless and were the top ranked defense in the NBA, both in points allowed (which is zero) and defensive rating.

This is odd. Seems like emotional rather than rationals.

What does dog in them mean? And, Celtics haven’t been tested, what does that have to do with anything.

4 of 5 starters on Boston have Finals Experience. Tatum and brown have played over 100 playoff games in career and been to 6 ECF and now 2 Finals.

Listen, late game needing a basket over great defense? I pick Mavs.

But why are we assuming Boston just doesn’t run them into the ground. Way too much firepower on Boston’s side IMO.

Boston is every bit as undisciplined as they were when they lost to Golden State two years ago. They've just gotten away with it by virtue of playing in a lousy conference. You can win on talent alone in the East, but not the West.
