Granted it's highlights, but watching Ingram's "best passing of 20-21" highlights (whatever year Hart was also on the Pelicans) and Ingram is basically playing....Brunson's role in that offense.

So, in theory it sounds good that Ingram could function as a SG next to OG, as he's playing with Murphy III and Jones, but he's doing that while kind of being Tall Brunson.

On the Knicks, he'd be on the ball and Brunson would be off it more, or Ingram would have to be more a secondary creator off Brunson.

He's a talented guy and he could probably fill any role, but maybe his passing effectiveness would go down not being the passing focal point.

I'm not an NBA scout, so I don't know.

The best part of the Knicks getting Ingram or Bridges is that both players have strong advocates and haters, so there should be a lot of bitter infighting no matter which one the Knicks get.

Win win.

I agree with Shams that I’m not really sure Ingram or Kat fit here culturally or with our current line up construction. Can Ingram guard 2’s? I’m not too sure about that. More importantly, idk if we have a trade package that would interest a team that’s just trying to retool and not tear down unless we’re including Randle. What value does Bojan and a bunch of picks have for Nola that already has a bunch of picks? I’m sure they’ll try to be involved in any sort of Star trade this summer but I’d imagine they’re going to do something smaller. Maybe a sign and trade for DeRozan or just trade for Kuzma? Bojan, 25 & 38 with a sign and trade of precious or Burks
I'm apart of a Knicks podcast! You Should check it out!

He's played most of his mins at SG for the past couple of years. Also has been playing next to a ball dominant CJ McCollum so I think he can still be effective as a passer next to Brunson.

Yo this has to be one of KG's best stories ever

It's worth the six minutes to just stop and listen to him corroborate what Charlie Murphy said 20 something years ago. Prince was an absolute legend

Seriously. I bet the stories from those events are even wilder than KG or Charlie Murphy described

Plus, I wouldn't mind having pancakes after a night of partying and hoops

I'm not an NBA scout, so I don't know.

He's talented but I think he's one of those players who's difficult to integrate into a team concept. Good passer but also a bit of a ball-stopper and a slow decision-maker - a bit Randle-like imo, but a worse version.

I don't see him guarding 2s either.

If we're gonna trade picks for someone, I think we're better off trading for a dynamic player like Mitchell or an ageing but impactful two-way star like PG. There is some risk to that but I think the upside is much greater.

How can they wilder than the Chapelle Show "Prince" episode?

The question is whose parties were wilder, Prince's or Rick James's?

Ingram and KAT are not winners. No thanks.

Before you bring any new player to NYK... ask yourself if they have that "dawg" in them. If the answer is no, then you keep the trade checker moving.
